You swore an oath to fight for all mankind. Well look around you! We are mankind, we are Wonkru! If I kill you, I kill myself. If we keep killing each other, there won't be anyone left to save. Our fight is over, Indra.
— Octavia to Wonkru and the Disciples [src]

Octavia Blake is a major character in the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh seasons. She is portrayed by starring cast member Marie Avgeropoulos and debuted in the series premiere.

In the first season, Octavia often helped Clarke as a medical assistant and collected information on the Grounders for the Delinquents. She is part of the original 100 and was sent to juvenile lockup for being a second child which was against the law on The Ark.

While on Earth, she faced many challenges: learning to be free, fighting for the survival of the Delinquents, trying to get into Mount Weather and save her friends, stopping A.L.I.E., losing Lincoln, and keeping 1,200 people together peacefully in one bunker.

Octavia was the lover of Lincoln. She embraced Grounder culture early on having never felt a part of the Sky People due to the circumstances of her birth, opting to wear Grounder clothing as well as applying Grounder war paint and getting at least one tattoo. She was the first to start speaking Trigedasleng, the Grounder language.

In Season Four, Octavia fought and won the Final Conclave for the right of the Sky People to live in the bunker. However she decided to allow all 12 clans to live in the bunker, and to become one clan, called Wonkru.

During the six years in the bunker, Octavia was the first leader. While initially more lenient, after Kara Cooper's coup, Octavia becomes Blodreina (Red Queen) and sentences anyone who breaks her rules to gladiatorial death matches. Two years after Praimfaya, a period of time known as the "Dark Year" made Octavia dark and ruthless.

In Season Five, Octavia continues to ruthlessly lead Wonkru. She wants to take Shallow Valley from Charmaine Diyoza regardless of how many deaths that would cause. This causes Bellamy, Clarke, and others to conspire against Octavia in the hope to avoid a war with the Eligius Prisoners. Only Octavia does not want peace. She wants the valley so she burns the bunker farm and leads her people Wonkru into a bloody fight against the Eligius Prisoners and ends up destroying her people for power. After realizing her mistakes, Octavia nearly sacrifices herself to save her brother and willingly turns over control of Wonkru to Madi Griffin. However, Paxton McCreary destroys the valley, rendering the Earth completely uninhabitable.

In Season Six, Octavia is exiled by Bellamy for her actions after their arrival on Sanctum. Originally teaming up with Diyoza to hunt the Children of Gabriel, Octavia is healed by the Temporal Anomaly and recognizes a desire to seek redemption for her actions and move on from being Blodriena. At the end of the season, Diyoza's now-adult daughter returns from the Anomaly and after stating that "he" has her mother, injects Octavia with a locator tag and Octavia subsequently disappears with the Anomaly.

In Season Seven, Octavia has been sent through the Anomaly by Hope at the behest of the Disciples while Hope, Echo and Gabriel Santiago try to rescue her and Bellamy. During this time, Octavia is discovered to have lived a forgotten life on the other side of the Anomaly with Hope and Diyoza. After 10 years living on Skyring with Hope and Diyoza, Octavia encountered the mysterious Disciples and she and Diyoza were taken by them to the planet Bardo. She eventually escaped with the help of Hope and Levitt, but lost her memory as a result of traveling back through the Anomaly. Upon returning to Bardo, Octavia was briefly reunited with Bellamy, however he is seen to apparently be killed when a Disciple explodes a grenade. She subsequently joins the Disciples and apparently becomes a loyal follower to their cause, but is discovered to be feigning her allegiance. She eventually discovers that Bellamy is still alive, but that he has joined the Disciples.

Bill Cadogan sent her and several others to Earth, where they discovered it was once again habitable. Clarke would arrive shortly after, to deliver the news that Bellamy was dead. Octavia was devastated by her brother's death, but understood Clarke's actions given what she had to do to protect Madi. She and Clarke would then travel to Bardo once again to save Madi, and put an end to the Disciples' reign of terror once and for all. In the end, Octavia convinces the two factions to stand down and in so doing, passes the Judge's test, leading to the Transcendence of humanity. Along with the rest of Clarke's friends, Octavia chooses to return to human form in order to live out life on Earth alongside her new boyfriend Levitt, so that Clarke will not be alone forever.

Early Life[]

Young bellamy

Young Bellamy keeping newborn Octavia quiet.

Aurora Blake, her mother, was forced to keep her second pregnancy a secret because of the one child law on The Ark. A young Bellamy watched his mother give birth to his sister and even helped keep her quiet afterward. After the child was born, Aurora told Bellamy to name her. He had learned about the Roman emperor, Augustus, and named his sister after the emperor's sister, Octavia. Aurora told Bellamy that Octavia was his responsibility. He told her he loves her very much and promises to keep her safe, no matter what may happen.

His Sister's Keeper 032 (Bellamy and Octavia)

Young Octavia playing with Bellamy on the Ark.

Because Octavia was an illegal second child, she had to be kept hidden in their quarters, never venturing out. Bellamy would tell her stories and play with her, telling her about the Ark. Their mother would also read them mythology, which Octavia loved. Octavia would also help Aurora, who was a seamstress on the Ark. In order to find out about the surprise inspections ahead of time, Aurora was sleeping with an Ark Guard and she was also trying to get Bellamy a position on the guard. During these inspections, Octavia was forced to hide under the floorboards and wait quietly until they were done. Bellamy told her to tell herself, "I am not afraid."

His Sister's Keeper 062 (Octavia)

Octavia watches the moon rise for the first time

Octavia was finally exposed a year before they were sent to earth. Bellamy had become an Ark Guard Cadet and was able to get duty during the Unity Day masquerade party. He sneaks Octavia out of their room for the first time in her life so she could attend and promises her that he'll keep her safe and deliver her home before their mother even knows they're gone. The party is disrupted by a solar flare alert, requiring everyone to show ID. Since Octavia didn't have any ID, they knew they would be caught. Bellamy tells her to go straight back to their room and hide while he creates a distraction, sacrificing himself, but Octavia doesn't know how to get back to their room. Commander Shumway notices that Bellamy has his shock baton out and starts to question them. Bellamy begs Commander Shumway to let her go, but he refuses stating Bellamy is not a guardsman yet. Octavia tries to run but is easily captured. Octavia is locked up, and Bellamy loses his sister, his mother, and his chance to be an Ark guard and becomes a janitor.

Over the next year, Bellamy is unable to see Octavia in Lockup. He is then approached by Commander Shumway who tells Bellamy that 100 prisoners are being sent to the ground, among them his sister. He offers Bellamy the chance to go to Earth and protect Octavia but only if he shoots and kills the Chancellor. Bellamy accepts the deal and stows away on the dropship.

Octavia and her brother Bellamy reuniting

In Pilot, Octavia is sent down to Earth with the other delinquents. When the spaceship lands she is reunited with her brother, Bellamy. Because she is the only one with a sibling, the delinquents realize that she is the illegal second child who used to hide under the floor. She doesn't take the comments well so Bellamy tells her she should give them something else to remember her by: she should be remembered as the first person to walk back on Earth.

Later, Octavia goes to Mount Weather with Clarke, Finn, Monty and Jasper. When asked about why she was arrested she responds, "for being born." On their way to Mount Weather she stops to swim in a river where she is attacked by a sea creature. Jasper helps save her and they stop for the night. The next morning, Octavia watches Jasper swinging on a vine to cross the river to Mount Weather before he is pierced in the chest by a spear.

Octavia 1x02

In Earth Skills, at the beginning of the episode, Octavia looks horrified after witnessing Jasper being speared and manages to escape back to camp with the rest of the group. Bellamy is worried about her and insists on treating her wound from the river serpent. She winces with pain while he is cleaning it, but she bares through it. When Clarke says they need to go after Jasper, she quickly volunteers to do so but is shot down by Clarke (who thinks her leg will slow them down) and Bellamy (who doesn't want her to get hurt again). Atom is left to watch over Clarke and Octavia quickly begins taunting him, saying how he can't not follow orders.

Kyfave4

Atom eventually gets fed up and locks her in the drop ship with Monty, who is trying to find a way to communicate with the Ark. Octavia encourages Monty saying that Jasper would understand why he didn't go after him. After Atom lets her back out of the drop ship, she wanders off following a butterfly and discovers a field full of them. Atom follows after her and Octavia kisses him. The two are seen kissing again later, only with Bellamy catching them and tying Atom up on a tree.

In Earth Kills, Octavia remains at the camp and watches over Jasper as he recovers from his wounds. She gets in a fight with Bellamy when she finds out that he has scared Atom off from being with her anymore. When Murphy tries to silence Jasper by killing him,Octavia and Monty block him from getting to Jasper. When she hears of Atom's death, she confronts her brother and yells at him for his behaviour.

In Murphy's Law, Octavia tries to take Jasper out into the forest as he had fully recovered from his wounds but John Mbege grabs her from behind, frightening Jasper who trips and inadvertently discovers Wells' amputated fingers and a knife with the initials "J.M." They take these to Clarke and Bellamy, with the latter confronting Murphy about it. Charlotte, however, is revealed to be the true murderer and Murphy decides she needs to be punished like he was (hanged). Jasper tries to stop him but gets punched and Octavia shows concern for him. Later, when Jasper attempts to put the finishing touches on setting up the communication between the Ark and the drop ship, it fails and wipes out all the wristbands. Jasper laments that he is cursed. Octavia tells him he is not cursed but brave and kisses him.

In Twilight's Last Gleaming, Octavia watches the Mir-3 escape pod crash to earth with the other delinquents and Bellamy tells her that they will search for it in the morning. Bellamy instead goes out searching for it in the night and Octavia follows him, eventually confronting him about his lies. Bellamy reveals that the reason he wants to find the ship is because he shot Chancellor Jaha in order to get on the drop ship with Octavia. Octavia is furious with him for this and storms off. While heading back to camp she trips down a hill and is knocked unconscious. Later, when she awakens, she discovers a Grounder watching her.

Octavia-Grounders-1x06

Octavia and Lincoln

In His Sister's Keeper, Octavia awakens in a cave belonging to a Grounder, the same Grounder she saw earlier. He enters the room she's being held in and seals her leg wound shut. After the Grounder exits the room, Octavia proceeds to crawl out of the cave through a small opening and manages to run away, heading back to camp. She is quickly recaptured by the same Grounder, however, and is held captive while she watches Roma die at the hands of the Grounder traps and realizes the Grounder had saved her life. As he carries Octavia back to his cave, she pleads with him to save her brother. When they get back to the cave, he chains her up and leaves her again. Octavia "freaks out" about being chained up and when the Grounder returns, she hits him over the head, knocking him out. As she's scrambling to free herself, Bellamy, Jasper, Zoe Monroe, and Finn discover her location and help free her. Bellamy wants to kill the Grounder, but Octavia tells him that the Grounder had saved her life. Finn reaches for the Grounder's horn that had saved them from the acid fog but the Grounder awakens and stabs Finn. He pins Bellamy down and Octavia begs him not to kill Bellamy right before Jasper knocks him out. Bellamy then hugs Octavia and gets the others to carry Finn back to camp. Once back at camp, Octavia tries to leave again but Bellamy prevents her and they get into another massive fight.

The 100-Clarke-Bellamy-Octavia-Scene

In Contents Under Pressure, Octavia is seen assisting Clarke with Finn's stabbing when Bellamy Blake, Nathan Miller, and Drew drag the Grounder that saved Octavia into the drop ship. She follows them up to the third level where they tie up the Grounder but is told to leave. Octavia eventually follows Clarke back into the room where the Grounder is being beaten and interrogated. This upsets her because the Grounder had saved their lives. Finn's condition worsens when it's discovered the blade was poisoned. As Bellamy, Clarke, and Raven grow increasingly more brutal in the torture of the Grounder, Octavia puts a stop to it by slicing herself with the knife that the Grounder used on Finn, forcing the Grounder to reveal the correct antidote in order to save Octavia's life. At the end of the episode, Octavia takes over for Clarke and tends to the Grounder's wounds. Once Clarke leaves, the Grounder thanks Octavia. Miller asks if he heard the Grounder speak and Octavia lies to him as she continues tending to the Grounder's wounds.

Day Trip 030 (Raven and Octavia)

Octavia and Raven

In Day Trip, Octavia is waiting to see the Grounder and Bellamy tells her she doesn't get to see him. Bellamy then leaves on a mission with Clarke. When Connor tells Nathan Miller that he needs to speak with Roma's parents, Octavia enters the room where the grounder is locked up and closes the hatch. Octavia mentions how Bellamy can be a dick sometimes and he smiles in agreement. She introduces herself and talks to him and he reveals his name to be Lincoln, asking her to remember him when he is dead. Miller returns and threatens to beat the grounder if Octavia doesn't leave so she does. Later on, Jasper runs up to her, hallucinating on jobi nuts. Octavia gets the idea to give jobi nuts to the delinquents, including Miller. Once everyone else is incapacitated, Octavia steals some clothes and sneaks back up to see Lincoln. She unties him and helps him get dressed. As he's about to leave, he turns around and kisses her passionately before escaping from the dropship. Soon after, Bellamy returns from his trip with Clarke and asks Octavia about Lincoln escaping. She replies by lying, saying she had nothing to do with it.

In Unity Day, Octavia sneaks away from the Unity Day Celebration with only Finn noticing her leaving. After following some white flowers, Octavia tries to sneak up on Lincoln in his cave, at first looking like she's going to kill him, but he has actually been training her to be a "warrior." It is then revealed that the two are now lovers. Finn shows up while they are saying goodbye and strikes up a deal for their leaders to meet to discuss peace. Lincoln brings his leader (Anya) and Finn brings Clarke but unknowingly to Finn, Lincoln, and Octavia, both leaders brought back-up. When things don't go as planned, Lincoln is hit by an arrow (calling it a "scratch") while trying to protect Octavia. Lincoln tells them to get back to their drop ship and takes off the other way. Back at camp, Octavia blames Jasper for ruining everything, and she walks away, angry.

I Am Become Death 028 (Clarke, Bellamy, and Octavia)

In I Am Become Death, Octavia spots a white flower outside camp walls right before a delinquent starts firing into the forest at some movement. Octavia is worried that it might be Lincoln so she goes outside the walls to find out who it was. It turns out that a badly beaten and tortured Murphy has returned to their camp after having been banished by Clarke and Bellamy. It is quickly discovered that Murphy was tortured by the Grounders before "escaping" and has brought a type of hemorrhagic fever back into their camp as the delinquents start getting very sick. Bellamy is worried about Octavia because she was the first one to find Murphy so he goes to check on her and catches her reading Lincoln's journal. He brings her to Clarke and Clarke tells Bellamy that she needs to quarantine her. Once Bellamy leaves, Clarke tells Octavia that she needs to talk to Lincoln to get the cure. When Octavia arrives at Lincoln's cave, he is happy to see that she is unaffected, calling her strong. He tells her that the grounders will attack at dawn and asks her to come with him as he is leaving. His people think he's a traitor because he loves Octavia. Octavia decides to go with him, but first, she needs to warn her people of the impending attack. Back at the drop ship, when Bellamy falls ill, Octavia takes care of him, making the same promise that he made her when she was born. She spends the night tending to the sick as she is immune. At first light, Octavia sneaks back to Lincoln and tells him that she can't go with him because she's decided to stay and help her people.

In The Calm, Octavia is working in the Smokehouse with John Murphy when Del brings in more wood for the fire. Octavia warns Del that they have too much wood but he decides to ignore her warning. As a result, the Smokehouse ends up burning down. Later, Octavia joins the search party for Finn, Clarke Griffin, and Myles.

In We Are Grounders (Part 1), she tells Bellamy that he is scaring people as he yells at one of the Delinquents for dozing off on their watch. When Jasper is taken hostage by Murphy, she challenges Bellamy to do something about it, which he was already doing when he sent Raven under the drop ship to figure out a way to open the door. After Bellamy trades places with Jasper, Octavia stays on the radio with Bellamy the whole time he and Murphy are locked in the drop ship together. After Bellamy is hanged by Murphy, she comforts him and encourages him to breathe. She witnesses Murphy's escape and Bellamy's motivational speech. When Clarke and Finn return after Lincoln helped them escape from the Grounders and the Reapers, Finn hands her Lincoln's sword, shaking his head to show that he didn't think Lincoln had escaped the Reapers.

We Are Grounders (Part 2) 016 (Octavia)

In We Are Grounders (Part 2), she fights with the other Delinquents in the war with the Grounders, despite her brother not want wanting her to. She later saves Bellamy's life after a Grounder attacks him. She is hit with an arrow and Bellamy is unable to get her back to the drop ship. Lincoln appears after he and Finn diverted the Reapers to the Grounders to help the Delinquents. Octavia is glad to see that he is still alive and Lincoln tells Bellamy that he can save her if they leave right away. Bellamy gives Lincoln permission to save Octavia and then they say their last goodbyes. Octavia is deeply saddened when she has to leave her brother behind.

Linc oct3 2x01

Lincoln carries an injured Octavia

In The 48, Octavia practices Lincoln's native language as Lincoln gathers ingredients from a river to treat the arrow wound in her leg. Octavia asks why she needs to learn the language and Lincoln explains to Octavia that only the Grounder warriors speak English and in order to blend in she needs to speak his native language. Octavia tells Lincoln to stop stalling and pull out the arrow, which he immediately does. He then cauterizes the wound and tastes the arrow tip, spitting when he realizes it was poisoned. Octavia tries to convince Lincoln not to go back to his village because if he does, he'll die the death of a thousand cuts and then be fed to the bugs. Lincoln comes up with a plan to use the beetles in the river as an antidote and leaves to collect the bugs. While Lincoln is away, Octavia begins screaming. When Lincoln returns, Octavia tells him she saw a man who was more monster than man. Lincoln thinks she is hallucinating from the poison and they're running out of time. He picks her up and carries her away from the river. As they walk through the forest, Lincoln asks her to repeat the phrase he told her earlier in his native language. Octavia does so but grows fearful when she can't smell anything. Later, Octavia learns that Lincoln lied to her and took her to his village instead of taking her to the ocean. He promises to come back and leaves her alone near the statue of Abraham Lincoln.

Inclement Weather 050 (Octavia)

Octavia threatening to harm Nyko

In Inclement Weather, Octavia awakens near the same statue. She sees a man a few feet away from her. He approaches her and hands her a concoction. When she asks about Lincoln, he says she needs to drink it. She asks the name of the man (Nyko) and is confused when he tells her she should run. Nyko tells her that Lincoln is paying for what he did (for helping her) while their clan is weak. She then says they have to do something but he says he did something by helping her and that she should run. After that she hits him and takes him as a hostage to Lincoln's village. She demands of the leader (Indra) an exchange for their healer, Nyko: she wants Lincoln. She tells the leader to bring Lincoln to the place she last saw him then threatens to kill her hostage if anyone else comes along. She says they have until dark. When dusk arrives, Octavia successfully swaps Nyko for Lincoln. As Lincoln is returned to her, they are ambushed by Reapers and both Lincoln and Nyko are taken away.

In Reapercussions, Octavia urges Indra to let her help search for Lincoln and Nyko. When Indra orders her death, Octavia runs from the Grounders and hides. Later, Octavia continues to follow Indra and her group as they search for Nyko and Lincoln. When Indra reveals that Octavia will be the bait for the Reapers she announces that she is not afraid. Octavia helps Indra and the other Grounders fight off the Reapers and at one point,Artigas saves her life. When Indra is defenseless, Octavia saves her by killing the Reaper who would have killed Indra. Once the Reapers are taken care of, Octavia discovers from Nyko that Lincoln is not among the freed Grounders. When she doesn't find him she screams out in anguish.

Many Happy Returns 074 (Monroe, Octavia, and Bellamy)

Octavia helps Monroe

In Many Happy Returns, Octavia blows Lincoln's Acid Foghorn in order to call off a Grounder attack on some of the Delinquents. She is reunited with Bellamy Blake and helps treat Monroe's arrow wound. Bellamy offers his sympathy when he learns that Lincoln didn't make it to safety. Octavia goes with her brother, Monroe, and Mel back to Camp Jaha while Finn and Murphy continue looking for Clarke and the rest of the missing delinquents.

Bell oct 2x5

Bellamy comforts Octavia after she loses Lincoln

In Human Trials, she witnesses Clarke hugging Bellamy when they make it back to camp, remarking she never thought she would see that. Clarke gives Octavia a hug, too. Octavia begins to lead the way to the Lincoln's village to bring back Murphy and Finn. Once night comes, they make camp in the woods and sleep. Octavia makes Clarke and Bellamy include Lincoln in their mission to rescue the remaining Delinquents from Mount Weather. She then insists they keep moving. Once at the Abraham Lincoln Memorial statue near the Grounder village, Bellamy comforts Octavia as she cries in his arms because she couldn't save Lincoln. They hear gunshots going off and the trio show up in time to see Finn massacring the grounders. Octavia immediately rushes over to Artigas' lifeless body. She is saddened by his death as he had once saved her life from Reapers.

In Fog of War, Bellamy and Octavia go along on the mission to take out Mount Weather's radio tower. They sneak off from the group in order to search on their own for Lincoln. Their absence is soon noticed and some Ark guards are sent after them. Acid Fog descends upon everyone and Octavia follows the fleeing critters to a sealed door. They get the door open and make it into a long-forgotten parking garage, rescuing two of the three the Ark guards who had followed them (one was swallowed up by the fog). They split up from the guards with Sgt. Scott giving Bellamy a gun. They soon hear the guards screaming and run to them only to see Reapers devouring them. Bellamy kills the two Reapers and then they spot another one kneeling over Sgt. Scott. Octavia recognizes it's Lincoln and calls out to him. He turns and starts to attack her and she shoots him in the leg. Bellamy and Octavia escape and plan a way to lure Lincoln back out so they can capture him. Octavia acts as bait and Bellamy uses the Ark guard's stun stick to knock Lincoln out. He tells Octavia that they will take Lincoln home.

Long Into an Abyss 089 (Lincoln and Octavia)

Lincoln is saved from being a Reaper

In Long Into an Abyss, Octavia is sitting in the drop ship room where Lincoln is once again chained to the walls while Clarke and Bellamy are discussing what the Mountain Men are doing to the Sky People and the Grounders. Lincoln manages to break free and attacks them. Octavia hits Lincoln over the head, knocking him unconscious. They get him chained back up and Octavia tries to give him some water but Lincoln thrashes at her, upsetting her. She leaves the drop ship to get some more water and spots a white flower in a tree, the same signal Lincoln had used with her in the past. Nyko appears and tells Octavia that the Commander will arrive soon and if they don't leave they will all die. When Nyko hears screams coming from the drop ship, he asks what it is and Octavia tells him it's Lincoln. Nyko immediately understands what she means: that Lincoln has become a Reaper. When Nyko comes in to see Lincoln, he spots Finn and wants to kill him for the massacre he caused earlier in Tondc. When Bellamy attempts to shoot Nyko, Octavia tries to stop him but Clarke shocks Nyko with an Ark guard's stun stick, knocking him out. Later, when Abby is unable to resuscitate Lincoln, Octavia refuses to believe it and continues CPR until she finally gives up, thinking Lincoln is dead for good. Moments later, Abby comes up with the idea to use the shock-baton as a defibrillator and brings Lincoln back to life. Octavia kisses him, happy to see that he is alive.

Octavia and Lincoln

In Spacewalker, Octavia is with Lincoln in Camp Jaha's medical facility where he is recovering from being a Reaper. She's trying to keep him comfortable by fluffing his pillows. Clarke visits with Abigail Griffin and they ask Lincoln how to negotiate with Lexa in order to save Finn but he says there is no way out of it and Finn must die. Octavia asks what would happen to him and Lincoln tells them that because Finn killed 18, he will suffer the pain of 18 deaths as a result. Clarke asks how he can say that about his friend and Lincoln tells Clarke that some of the dead Finn had massacred were Lincoln's friends, too. Later, Marcus Kane and Abby are talking with Octavia and Lincoln again and ask if Lexa would be willing to accept a deal where the Sky People put Finn on trial instead. Lincoln tells them it's not possible because Finn killed innocent people and they're already lucky because if it were up to Indra, all of the Sky People would be dead. Abby decides she needs to speak with Indra.

In Remember Me, Octavia wants to talk to Lincoln but Lincoln doesn't want to talk about being a Reaper she tells him he's not that monster and they kiss. Later, Octavia is seen with Lincoln in Tondc, standing with the others while Finn's body along with the other 18 Grounder bodies are lit on fire. Soon after that, when Gustus is poisoned at the peace dinner and Raven is blamed for it, Octavia asks Lincoln to talk to Indra to intervene on their behalf so they won't kill Raven. Indra tells Lincoln that he is one of the Sky People now in disdain. Later, Lincoln decides to help Bellamy get through the tunnels to Mount Weather in order to face what he had done as a Reaper. Octavia wants to join but Lincoln tells her that she needs to stay behind to make sure the Grounder-Sky People alliance doesn't fail since she has knowledge of both worlds now.

Survival of the Fittest 077 (Octavia)

Octavia agrees to be Indra's Second

In Survival of the Fittest, she stands Camp Jaha guard as Grounders enter the camp for a meeting between Sky People and Grounders. She attempts to get Indra to let her train with the grounders, but Indra refuses. Later, as the Grounders are about to leave Camp Jaha, Octavia picks a fight with one of the Grounders so she can get trained with them like she wanted to. The Grounder, Fio, beats her up pretty severely, but Octavia continues to stand up again and again until Indra calls it off. As Octavia is recuperating from the fight, Indra appears and tells her that she fought like a child but Indra is willing to train her and take her on as her Second. Octavia agrees. After Indra and the grounders bring back food for the people of Camp Jaha, Kane acknowledges that it was Octavia who brought the Grounders and the Sky People together. Fio, the man whom she had sparred with earlier, brings her a plate of food. Kane asks her to "look out for [her] people," to which Octavia ambiguously replies that she is.

Coup de Grace 015 (Octavia)

Octavia and a Mountain Man

In Coup de Grâce, she kills one of the Mount Weather guards and is about to kill the other one when Clarke arrives and stops her, telling her they are going to need him to get answers. Later, she tells Clarke that she is worried about Lincoln because he should be back from the mines by now. Clarke calms her by telling her that Bellamy and Lincoln are going to be all right. Soon after that, Octavia, along with Clarke and Indra, get the prisoner out of the airlock so he can deliver to Mount Weather a message from Clarke. After he takes off, Octavia asks Clarke how this is going to help Clarke and Bellamy tells her she wants Mount Weather to look at the army outside so they won't discover Bellamy inside. Octavia then walks away with Clarke and Indra.

Rubicon 073 (Octavia and Lincoln)

Octavia finds Lincoln

In Rubicon, Octavia is seen in Tondc with Indra telling her that she is worried about Lincoln not being back yet. Indra answers that Lincoln is no longer her concern and that she can worry about him when the battle is finished. Octavia is then put on watch with another Grounder, Atohl of the Ice Nation. When they hear a noise, Atohl goes to investigate and soon after Octavia hears him scream. She follows after him and finds Lincoln standing over Atohl, tying him up to take back to Mount Weather in exchange for more of the Reaper drug. She tells Lincoln to get off him and to come with her. Refusing to answer Octavia, Lincoln receives a punch in the face and Octavia quotes something he had said to her a while ago: "Ge smak daun, gyon op nodotaim." (Get knocked down, get back up!) and says, "Grounders don't give up. We fight," with the ultimatum that he can either get back up and fight what the Mountain Men did to him or he can "crawl away and die alone like a coward." Lincoln goes with her and at the end of the episode, they are seen standing in front of Tondc after the missile hit, staring at the destruction in shock.

In Resurrection, after they're pinned down from rescuing people by a sniper, Lincoln decides to go after the shooter. He tells Octavia that she needs to remain with Nyko and help him since Indra was shot by the sniper. Indra tells Octavia that because she's the Chief's Second, she must make the other Seconds follow her. Atohl and Caris, the other Seconds, tell Octavia that they can't do anything until Lincoln takes out the sniper. Octavia comes up with a plan to block the sniper's line-of-sight so they can get to the wreckage where Abby and Kane are trapped and the other Seconds follow her and they start to dig out the survivors. She is overjoyed to see Lincoln return alive after taking out the shooter and looks on with pride when Indra finally welcomes Lincoln back into their clan. Later, Octavia and Lincoln leave Tondc with Clarke, Lexa, and Indra for Mount Weather.

PromoOctaviaClarke 2x14

Octavia confronting Clarke

In Bodyguard of Lies, she tells Clarke that she figured out that Clarke knew about the missile and is disappointed in her for letting all those people die and thinking she was going to let her die too. When Lexa tells the guard to kill Octavia, Clarke is able to stop the guard in time. Later, Clarke tells Octavia she wants to take her out of the mines and put her at the back of the battle so she won't get hurt but Octavia says no, stating she only listens to Indra and then ends their friendship by telling Clarke she only fights this war with her because she wants their friends back. Octavia and Indra discuss the Tondc bombing and she doesn't understand why Indra isn't mad at Clarke and Lexa for letting all those Grounders die. Indra tells her it was the Mountain Men who were responsible for their deaths. They soon join in the battle cry with the Grounders around her.

In Blood Must Have Blood (Part 1), Octavia travels into the mines with Indra, Caris, Eric Jackson, several Grounders, and several Sky People to clear the mines of Reapers so Bellamy can get the delinquents and the imprisoned grounders safely out of Mount Weather. Later, Octavia thanks Indra for forgiving Lincoln. Octavia uses Lincoln's maps of the mines to find the way to the Mount Weather intake door. They eventually reach the door to Mount Weather and Indra tells her she's a Grounder now, much to Octavia's pleasure. They soon they hear the horn sounding retreat and Indra commands Octavia to leave the mines with them. Caris asks Octavia to leave with them but Octavia tells them she is not leaving without Bellamy. Indra tells her she is no longer her Second and symbolically cuts her. After Indra and the Grounders leave, Jackson asks Octavia to come home with the Sky People. Octavia tells him she has no home and Jackson leaves with the others while Octavia stays in the mines.

Octavia and Lincoln return to Camp Jaha

In Blood Must Have Blood (Part 2), Octavia is waiting by the mine entrance to Mount Weather when Clarke appears. Clarke and Octavia get in a fight because Clarke is desperate to get into Mount Weather and will bring unwanted attention on them. Suddenly, the door opens and Bellamy appears with Monty, Jasper, and Maya. They split up with Bellamy, Clarke, and Monty going after Dante and Octavia going with Jasper and Maya to get her to Level 5 before she runs out of oxygen. Once on Level 5, Jasper leaves them to go kill Cage Wallace and Octavia and Maya sit and wait for the all clear. They are soon interrupted by a kissing couple who run away and alert the Mount Weather guards. Octavia chases after them and takes out two Mount Weather guards with her sword and newly learned grounder moves. Octavia and Maya are soon chased into the Mess Hall and are quickly surrounded by Mount Weather guards. Bellamy sees her predicament and irradiates Level 5 with Clarke in order to save her. Octavia sits with Maya as she succumbs to the radiation until Jasper gets there. She then leaves to free the imprisoned Sky People. The next day, Octavia returns to Camp Jaha, holding hands with Lincoln.

In Wanheda (Part 1), three months after the events of Mount Weather, Bellamy is taking a group out on a mapping mission of Sector 7. Octavia shows up on horseback and tells them to try to keep up. They leave through the gates of Arkadia and head out on their mapping mission. The rover eventually stops and Octavia rides up on her horse, asking why. Monty says they have received a signal coming from Sector 8, which is Ice Nation. Since Monty and Miller's boyfriend are both from Farm Station, Bellamy says Monty and Miller get to decide whether or not they go into Ice Nation territory and they both agree. They reach the border to Sector 8 and Ice Nation territory. Octavia tells them the Ice Nation stretches for thousands of miles and the ice is farther to the north. Bellamy reminds them to use non-lethal force as the beacon signal draws nearer to them. Three Ice Nation warriors break through the tree line on horses, identified by their white war paint. Octavia tells them they are Skaikru looking for their people. The Ice Nation warrior asks if they're looking for Wanheda.

One of the warriors is wearing the Farm Station beacon that was transmitting the signal. Jasper staggers his way forward as Octavia tells the warriors that they observe the Commander's alliance. Jasper grabs the beacon as Octavia tries to diffuse the situation. The warrior takes Jasper hostage and puts a knife to his throat, asking where Wanheda is and Octavia says she doesn't know who that is but they can help each other. Jasper is laughing and the warrior starts to slit his throat. Bellamy shoots him in the arm while Raven and Miller kill the other two warriors. The wounded warrior rises up to kill Jasper and Octavia throws her sword at him, killing him. Kane comes in over the radio, asking for Bellamy to come to Sector 4. Raven, Jasper, and Miller take the Ice Nation horses and go with Octavia back to Arkadia while Monty and Bellamy take the rover and head to Sector 4.

Abigail Griffin, Eric Jackson, and Lincoln come running to the gates of Arkadia as Octavia, Miller, and Raven bring back the injured Jasper. Octavia comments negatively on Lincoln wearing the Guard jacket and walks away from him to take care of her horse. Lincoln approaches Octavia where she is brushing down her horse, Helios, and asks how they are doing in Trigedasleng. Octavia comments that he can still speak it at least. She tells him that he might wear the Guard jacket but he will never be one of the Skaikru. He tells her there cannot be an "us or them" and that Kane and Abby are trying for peace like he is. Octavia thinks they are using Lincoln and tells him she doesn't want them to live with the Skaikru and wants them to go far away to Luna's clan. Lincoln says they can't because Luna is hiding. Octavia starts crying and Lincoln tells her Trikru is in the heart and goes to kiss her but Octavia is too bothered by the jacket and turns away and leaves. Lincoln no longer wears the guard jacket as he enters his and Octavia's room in Arkadia but Octavia is not there. He goes out to the forest where she sleeps and brings her a blanket, placing it over her before lying down behind her and wrapping her in his arms.

In Wanheda (Part 2), at Arkadia, Octavia and Lincoln wake up outside the walls and start to make out. A guard shouts from the walls that there is a "fighter" approaching, disrupting them. Octavia is worried because of the Kill Order on Lincoln and they start heading toward the wall. They spot Nyko on horseback, badly injured. He asks for Abby and Lincoln asks him who hurt him. Nyko tells him it was the Ice Nation. Nyko has lost a lot of blood and they bring him to Medical. Eric Jackson types him and it comes up Rhnull. Octavia offers her arm to give blood as a universal donor but her blood won't work. Lincoln then offers his arm and Jackson types him as not a match. Jackson suggests using Mount Weather's medical facility because they have the equipment needed for a blood transfusion to save Nyko. Abby tells him they can't do it but he argues with her that they need to do it to save Nyko's life. Abby asks Lincoln about the supply runs jeopardizing their peace and Lincoln tells Abby to save Nyko.

At Mount Weather, Lincoln, Abby, and Jackson are rushing Nyko to the medical area. Octavia tells Jasper not to do anything stupid before following after them. Later, Octavia finds Jasper in the art warehouse and sits down next to him. He tells Octavia Maya's favorite painting represents the Second Circle of Hell from Dante's Inferno. He starts to cry and Octavia puts an arm around him, telling him it will get better. He asks when.

In Ye Who Enter Here, a rover pulls up to Mount Weather and Bellamy, Raven, Gina, and Octavia exit. Bellamy complains to Gina about not being at the summit because Kane is trying to teach Bellamy a lesson. They bring supplies into Mount Weather and enter the dining room on Level 5, finding it filled with Farm Station survivors, eating and having fun. Pike welcomes them and both Raven and Octavia are uncomfortable with how they made themselves at home. Pike tells them there are thirty-six people there. Octavia warns the Grounders are going to think the Sky People have moved into Mount Weather before leaving in disgust.

Bellamy finds Octavia sitting on top of the side-door to Mount Weather. He asks her if she's okay and then climbs up to join her. She tells him that inhabiting Mount Weather is a mistake. Octavia reveals to Bellamy that once the kill order is lifted off Lincoln, they will finally be able to leave. She apologizes for not fitting in with the Sky People. Bellamy is understanding and tells her that she will always fit in with him. Two Farm Station survivors enter the clearing escorting a prisoner with them. Bellamy recognizes Echo, who has been taken captive for "threatening the summit." Bellamy and Octavia free her to the protests of the Farm Station guards and Echo tells them the summit is a trap and all of the Sky People will die. They bring Echo into the mess hall. Pike and Bellamy question Echo as other Farm Station members are grabbing weapons and arming themselves. Echo tells them the summit is a trap. Bellamy tells Pike they can trust Echo because she saved his life. Jacapo Sinclair arrives and he and Pike get into an argument about using the missiles in Mount Weather. Raven says she might be able to help get the launch codes. Bellamy tells Gina to remain behind to help them find the launch codes while he leaves for Polis to warn the rest of the Sky People about the attack since they are not responding to the radio.

Bellamy, Octavia, Echo, and Pike arrive at the outskirts of Polis and park behind the truck Marcus and Abby arrived in. Octavia discovers the two guards Kane left behind had their throats slit and that is why they did not respond when radioed about the threat. Pike starts to go after Echo but Octavia steps in and tells him that Echo warned them. Octavia tells Echo she is not leaving her blade behind before entering Polis and Echo says she will take them through the tunnels so they can keep their weapons.Under Polis, Bellamy, Echo, Octavia, and Pike move through the tunnels toward the elevator shaft to the Polis tower. Two guards spinning the wheel that raises and lowers the elevator are in their way. Pike and Bellamy attack and kill the two guards running the elevator. Octavia is upset that they killed the guards when they did not have to. Bellamy insists they did. They proceed to climb the ladder up the elevator shaft to the top floor. Octavia, Bellamy, and Pike barge into the throne room, holding a guard captive. Bellamy warns everyone the summit is a trap. Ivon, the Ice Nation representative, tells them it was the Skaikru who barged into the summit with guns. Pike says they are right because two Skaikru guards are already dead. Lexa asks how they came by the information and Octavia realizes Echo is no longer with them. Bellamy realizes Echo betrayed them as Kane tells him to stand down. Raven comes across the radio and tells them that the Grounders attacked Mount Weather and it is completely gone with only her and Jacapo Sinclair surviving. Ivon tells them that is what they get for moving their people back into Mount Weather and the Ice Nation did what Lexa was too weak to do. Lexa declares war and orders the Ice Nation delegation along with Prince Roan to be arrested. Abby worries that Arkadia might be under attack next and Lexa commands them to go. Indra offers to escort them and tells Octavia she hopes she kept up on her training because she will need it before giving her back her sword. Bellamy tells Clarke they need to leave while Lexa offers Clarke protection if she remains as Skaikru ambassador. Clarke tells them she is staying to make sure Lexa keeps her word. Bellamy warns Clarke that Lexa will always put her people first and tells her to come home but Clarke apologizes and stays.

In Echoes, she finds Indra as she gets released from the wooden cross and tells her mentor that A.L.I.E. was destroyed and Charles Pike is dead. Jaha brings the body of Ontari to the Azgeda warriors and to the injured King Roan, but it is Octavia who released herself and immediately attacks the guards and the healer. Now, Abby with the help of Clarke can take care about the severely injured King Roan, as well to build an agreement for all Skaikru to survive. As Clarke returns to Arkadia, Octavia, Kane and Abby remain in Polis. Their primary task is to keep King Roan in power to keep the coalition intact.

In Heavy Lies the Crown, Kane is the Skaikru ambassador, Octavia is his security detail, together they do everything to keep Roan in power and to keep the freedom of the coalition alive. Because Ambassador Rafel does not listen to Kane, so Octavia pays him a last visit to finally release his plans to attack King Roan. As Ambassador Rafel does not respect Octavia at all, Octavia uses a small dagger to kill Ambassador Rafel with a single strike. Octavia is present when King Roan announces the death of Rafel, with suspicion he eyes Kane and Echo looks towards Octavia. Both seem to know who had the real power to control the situation.

In The Four Horsemen, King Roan asks Octavia for a favor. Someone stole the flame and he wants Octavia to bring it back to him, with Indra's permission Octavia accepts the task, gets dressed and grabs her sword. Meanwhile, Roan congratulates Indra for her achievement and tells her Octavia's nickname is Skairipa or death from above. Within a few hours Octavia finds the new flamekeeper, a girl named Gaia and attacks her with the chance to kill when Indra appears and yells "Stop! She is my daughter". Octavia respects Indra and respects family relations. Octavia offers an open hand to help Gaia up, but she refuses. Shortly after the looters try to enter the Temple in effort to destroy technology. Octavia has an idea to save Gaia as well to save the flame, however Octavia still has to deliver a head to King Roan, Terro.

In A Lie Guarded, ambassador Kane speaks a strict word to Octavia and releases her from his security team. As ambassador Kane gets called to King Roan also Octavia leaves the place. Soon later Octavia returns to the Trikru house just to find all Trikru warriors dead, except one was able to warn Octavia and says 'the alliance is broken - it's war'. Now Octavia tries to reach Arcadia with her horse through the forest but Echo with two Azgeda warriors catch her and starts a fight. Octavia has the first strike and takes out the first Azgeda warrior, now Echo with the other warrior approach Octavia in a direct sword fight. Octavia is well able to keep both in distance and use the first chance to kill the Azgeda warrior. Already exhausted Octavia and Echo keep fighting till Echo breaks Octavia's sword. Looking for an alternative weapon Octavia grabs the sword of the Azgda warrior and fast jump up on her feet. With this uncontrolled move Octavia steps directly into the sword of Echo and gets heavy stabbed through the body. In shock Octavia touch her wound breaths heavy and makes a few steps backwards until Octavia falls off a high cliff into a river. Echo accepts her win and speaks the words 'Yu gonplei ste odon - Octavia con Skaikru'. However, Octavia survives and her horse Helios finds her near the river bed. Octavia manages to get onto her horse and tells Helios to take her home.

In The Tinder Box Octavia is on her way back to Arcadia but she stumbles off her horse and lays consciousness on the ground. It looks that Ilian finds Octavia coincidence on his way from Polis to his farm, Ilian decides to carry Oktavia and changes his route towards Arcadia. Ilian brings Octavia straight to Clarke Griffin who is just barley able to save Octavia's life with mouth-to-mouth breath support and cardiac massage. Octavia is able to inform Clarke about the important information 'Azgeda is coming - war is here'. Niylah who brought dry meat to Arcadia takes care about Octavia in the medical facilities of Arcadia when Octavia gains consciousness. Still weak and wounded Octavia realizes fast that Ilian did not found her coincidentally rather than on purpose to enter Arcardia with the intent to destroy Arcardia. Even Octavia finds Ilian shortly before his destructive action Octavia can not stop him to execute his plan. Ilian carries Octavia and Niylah out and saves their life but Arcadia is on fire and explodes.

In We Will Rise Octavia lays with Ilian in the medical bay of Arcadia when the people of Arcadia attacks because they want to kill Ilian. Octavia stands up walks towards the door and suddenly opens the door to let the crowd in. David Miller uses an electric strick to neutralize Kane to avoid multiple people being killed. Octavia enforces to get the gun into her hand and Octavia enforces to get to kill Ilian. Outside of Arcadia Ilian kneels down while Octavia hold the gun towards Ilian ready to shoot.

In Gimme Shelter Octavia rides on her horse through the forest when Ilian approaches her, soon later rain starts, acid rain called 'black rain' that hurts human and animals. Octavia and Ilian finds a cave with water to hide and wash them self, captured till the rain ends. Ilian tells his sad story to Octavia and asks Octavia to share her story. Ilian sees the the good side of her but Octavia does not want to talk - rather Octavia wants to run into the black rain to die. Only with heavy forces Ilian can keep Octavia save inside the cave before Octavia has a mental breakdown. Octavia let go her defense and jumps on Ilian to have sex as a deflection of the current situation. When the storm is over Ilian and Octavia plan to go different paths but then Octavia catch up with Ilian to accompany him to his farm.

In God Complex

In Red Queen, a flashback from the early days in the bunker, Octavia is reluctant on being the leader of Wonkru and tries to make peace with everyone. However, due to lack of rations and the bunker being locked in indefinitely, led to Kara Cooper's coup. In order to restore order, Octavia takes matters into her own hands and kills anyone who defies her or question her view. Covered in their blood and being told by Gaia to use that blood as armor, she becomes Blodreina (Red Queen). Octavia decides that anyone who breaks her laws must compete in gladiatorial death matches.

In Pandora's Box, Octavia throws Kane in the ring in suspicion of stealing drugs meant to treat Wonkru. Octavia knows that Kane didn't do it but he knows who did it. At first, she puts Kane weak opponents to make it easy for Kane to win. But Kane still refuses to tell Octavia that it was Abby who stole the medicine. During the next match, Kane refuses to fight. So, Octavia is forced to go in and kill him herself. Just before killing Kane, Octavia is shocked to see the bunker opened. It's her brother Bellamy and Clarke. Bellamy had made a deal with Diyoza so that her prisoners can help open the bunker. Octavia thanks Bellamy but tells him that she doesn't trust Diyoza and her people. Diyoza forces Abby to come with her because they need a doctor. Kane comes with them to avoid his execution by Octavia. When one of Diyoza's people goes against the orders and tries to attack Wonkru, Octavia declares war against the prisoners.

In Shifting Sands, after learning about the Shallow Valley, Octavia becomes determined to reclaim it for Wonkru since their hydrofarm is dying. She goes against Clarke's advice that the journey is long and dangerous. On their way, they get attacked by parasite worms from the sand and one of her people dies. When Harper, Monty, Echo and Madi arrive, warning Wonkru of a missile attack from Diyoza, Octavia leads her people to quickly come up with a way to protect themselves. They survive the attack and agree to retreat for now. She asks Clarke about Madi. Clarke tells her that Madi survived Praimfaya because of synthetic nightblood. She is later unhappy to see Bellamy kissing her enemy, Echo.

In Exit Wounds, Octavia tells Echo that she is still banished against Bellamy's plead to let her stay. But when Diyoza invites Wonkru to defect from Octavia and join her at the valley, Octavia agrees to use Echo's spy skills to infiltrate Diyoza's ship. She orders Cooper to shoot all the other defectors going to the prisoners' ship. Clarke plans for her and Madi to escape with the defectors in order to keep Madi safe. She doesn't want anyone finding out that Madi is a true Nightblood to avoid power contest between Madi and Octavia which could put Madi in danger since she's still a child. However, Madi - who adores Octavia - sneaks back and tells Octavia the truth. Octavia embraces Madi and performs a blood ritual, initiating her as a member of Wonkru. Octavia orders for Madi to start training in preparation for her to take over as the next commander. She also promises Clarke to keep Madi's secret.

In Acceptable Losses, Clarke and Bellamy discover that Octavia and Cooper have been experimenting on the parasite worms to use them as weapons against Diyoza and her people at the valley. They work with Indra to advise Octavia against it but she refuses and says that this is war. She is ready to fight for the valley. She goes to oversee Madi's training and she is really impressed by Madi. Madi easily defeats everyone else despite Clarke and Gaia's advice to underperform in front of Octavia. So, Octavia promotes asks for her to be given a real sword, ready to fight for Wonkru. She promotes Madi to be her second in command. Out of options, Clarke calls Diyoza and asks what they need to do to share the valley. Diyoza agrees to share the valley as long as they surrender. Since Octavia won't surrender, Clarke decides to take her out.

In How We Get to Peace, while Octavia is preparing Wonkru for battle, Clarke is determined to take her out by any means necessary even it is means killing her. Bellamy doesn't want to kill his sister. So, they come up with a plan to force Octavia to surrender by destroying her weapons - the worms. They attack Cooper with the worms to make it look like an accident before killing all the worms. Octavia easily figures out what they did. She reveals that the plan was never for them to use the worms. They were planning to use the worms' eggs. She orders for Clarke to be arrested for execution. Octavia is sharing rations with her people when Bellamy walks in. She shares a piece with her brother who bites and gives a piece back. She asks Bellamy why he's there and he told her that she cannot kill Clarke. She refuses Bellamy's request to release Clarke. She calls out Bellamy for once again defending a traitor he loves over his own sister.

Bellamy tells Octavia that he loves her, no matter what happens. Then, Bellamy reveals that he and Clarke made a deal with Diyoza to share the valley, if Wonkru surrenders. A few moments after taking the bite, Octavia starts choking. Bellamy reveals that he had switched the bread with a piece that was contaminated with the poisonous algae. The algae would send Octavia into a coma and by the time she's awake, they would be already at the valley. Octavia succumbs to the food poisoning and slips into a coma.

In Sic Semper Tyrannis, Indra tries to convince Wonkru to accept her as the new leader while Octavia is unconscious (after being poisoned by Bellamy). However, Wonkru rejects Indra due to their loyalty to Octavia. So, Bellamy and Indra devise a new plan to make Madi the new commander because the Grounders would listen to her since she's a true Nightblood. While the ceremony is going on, Indra goes to check in on Octavia. Octavia wakes up and mentions that Bellamy poisoned her only to be shocked to on realizing that Indra was working with Bellamy. She calls out Indra for committing treason and for being a coward. Indra justifies herself by claiming that she was just trying to take the burden off of Octavia since she feels responsible for what Octavia has become.

After escaping the chains and finding that Madi is about to take the flame, Clarke concludes that Octavia is Madi's main threat. So, she barges into Octavia's room and points a gun at her. However, Octavia convinces her that they are on the same side since they both don't want Madi to become commander. They make a deal for Clarke to help stop Madi's ascension and for Octavia to help Clarke and Madi escape. Octavia stops the ceremony and orders for Bellamy, Indra and Gaia to be arrested for treason. She throws them in the ring to fight to the death. She makes a speech in which she lies to them about Madi not being a true commander. She tells them that Madi ran away instead of sticking around to fight for Wonkru. She declares that Madi is not Wonkru - she's an enemy of Wonkru - and will deal with her later. For now, they have a war to win. She then goes to her seat. As she prepares to make her brother fight to the death, she sheds a tear.

In The Warriors Will, Octavia is in a dilemma because she doesn't want to kill Bellamy but at the same time, she wants to regain Wonkru's loyalty by throwing the traitors into the arena. Indra warns that if Octavia throws them into the pit, she intends to kill Bellamy and help her daughter, Gaia survive. Realizing that Indra is the main threat, Octavia tries to use Monty to send message to Bellamy, informing him of Indra's weaknesses so that he can win. But Monty refuses and instead shows her that he's been working on the hydrofarm and it's almost ready to grow crops. Octavia walks out and goes to talk to Bellamy herself. She reminds Bellamy of how he used to protect her when they were kids, and now he's poisoning her. Bellamy explains that he did it all to protect her. She tells him of Indra's weaknesses but Bellamy says that he won't fight. If Octavia really wants to save him, she should call off the fight.

Octavia walks out and starts crying, before slitting her wrists and pasting the blood on her face. She goes to the arena, ready to watch her brother and her Seda the fight to the death. The fight begins but before anyone dies, Monty and Harper interrupts. Monty reveals that the hydrofarm is working again, by using the same techniques. He tells them that they don't have to go fight for the valley. They have a choice to stay behind and use the hydrofarm. As Wonkru start turning against her, Octavia quietly goes to the hydrofarm and sets it on fire as a retaliation, leaving them with no choice. She then starts marching towards the valley. They all follow her behind.

In The Dark Year, Abby reveals to Clarke and Madi that she is the reason why Octavia became so dark. She tells them what happened after two years in the bunker. Wonkru ran out of protein supply due to a fungus infection on the crops. Abby advised Octavia that the only way to keep people from starving to death was to resort to cannibalism. They would have to eat the people who died in the fighting pit. Octavia didn't like Abby's idea but she didn't have a choice. So, she agreed to it and convinced most of Wonkru that this was the only way to survive. However, some people led by Kane refused to eat human flesh. So, Abby pushed Octavia to make it a crime and kill whoever refused to eat. Since Octavia didn't want to kill them, she tried to persuade them to eat but when they persisted, she started killing them. This caused Kane to stand down and start eating it too. Octavia took all the blame and carried all that burden by herself. But when it was all said and done, Octavia felt dead inside, which turned her into the person she's become.

On learning what happened to Octavia, Madi aggressively defends her from Clarke who has already made a deal with McCreary, betraying Octavia and Wonkru's "surprise" arrival. After finding out that Clarke has sold out Octavia to McCreary, Echo radios Bellamy to warn Octavia about walking into a death trap. However, since they don't have a choice, Octavia continues to lead the march into the valley. Spacekru comes up with a plan that might help Wonkru get in safely. But before telling Octavia about the plan, Bellamy makes her promise that she would share the valley if McCreary surrendered. Octavia agrees, saying that she doesn't want to fight either.

In Damocles (Part 1), Octavia leads Wonkru towards the valley according to their plan with Spacekru. Unfortunately, Diyoza and Kane have betrayed Octavia to McCreary who orders his men to return to the gorge and massacre Wonkru. Octavia loses dozens - if not hundreds - of her soldiers. She lies down next to Bellamy and wants to get up but Bellamy convinces her to stay down because if McCreary's people see anyone standing up, they will shoot them down. So, Octavia and her brother lie there, next to dead bodies, the whole day. When the night falls, Octavia and Bellamy start looking for any other survivors. They find Indra holding her daughter Gaia who has been badly injured. Octavia shows compassion for Gaia and Gaia wonders why she's being nice to her since she tried to kill her recently. Octavia explains that Gaia is Wonkru despite her previous betrayal.

Octavia blames herself for breaking Wonkru. So, she's willing to do anything for redemption. Indra wants to cause attention on herself so that when McCreary's guards are shooting at her, Bellamy and Octavia can take Gaia back to the tent. However, Octavia offers to sacrifice herself instead. She and Bellamy exchange painful emotional looks. She then says to Bellamy, "My brother... my responsibility" before going into the open. She starts firing off a machine gun while shouting "You're Wonkru or the enemy of Wonkru! Choose!" She runs out of bullets and humbly kneels down waiting to be shot down. She hears gunshots getting closer. Surprisingly, it turns out to be Madi, Echo, Murphy and Emori in the rover. They ask Octavia to get in. Indra and Bellamy carry Gaia into the rover. Octavia sits and lets Madi drive them back to the tent to strategize their next move.

In Damocles (Part 2), Octavia gets out of the rover on arriving at the tents. She pulls out her sword and heads towards Madi. Some soldiers try to block her but Madi orders them to let her through. Octavia gets close to Madi, lifts her sword and sticks it to the ground. She kneels down before Madi and acknowledges her as the commander and the leader of Wonkru. This leads the rest of Wonkru to kneel before Madi. After that, Octavia stays by Madi's side and helps her execute the plan to get back to the valley.

On getting to the valley and learning from Raven that McCreary has launched the dangerous nuclear fuel, hythylodium to destroy the valley, Octavia takes it upon herself to go door to door to get everyone into the Gagarin transport ship as soon as possible. She finds Abby, still treating Kane at the gas station. Abby is afraid at first because she thinks Octavia has come to kill her. Instead, Octavia asks her to come with her to the ship. Abby refuses because she doesn't want to leave Kane. Octavia says that it is not optional, reminding Abby of her "eat or die" policy back at the bunker. When Abby insists on saving Kane, Octavia helps her carry Kane into the ship before time runs out. Then, they escape to Eligius IV.

With the ground destroyed, Wonkru has no option but to use the ship's cryogenic chambers to sleep until the Earth is habitable again. Before going to her cryogenic sleep, Octavia tells Bellamy that she loves him. She says that she knows Bellamy loves her too and asks him to say it back. Instead, Bellamy says a part of him loves Octavia too while the other part wishes the dark part of her was dead. Octavia then agrees, saying "That's fair."

In Sanctum - after waking up 125 years later, Bellamy and Clarke wake up most of the other key players - except Octavia. Bellamy wants to keep his sister in ice while the first group of explorers goes to check out the "new planet". He is worried that Octavia will jeopardize their plans to go in peacefully this time round. His plan to keep Octavia in the cryogenic sleep is shattered when Niylah wakes Octavia in an attempt to obtain blood for Kane's treatment. Octavia inquires to know where her brother is and what's going on.

On learning that Abby is trying to save Kane, Octavia angrily goes to confront Abby and Kane for what they did back on earth. She blames Abby for engineering cannibalism back in the bunker. She then unleashes all her anger on Kane, calling him out for his betrayal that led to hundreds of Wonkru in the Shallow Valley to die in the gorge. Kane fights back by accusing Octavia for letting power corrupt her. In this heated argument, Kane's pressure increases and he starts to vomit blood because he had just come from surgery. As Kane collapses, Octavia helps Abby lay him on bed. She then tells Kane, "your fight is over" and leaves the room.

In Red Sun Rising, Octavia is still struggling to move on from everything that happened back on earth. She directs that anger into training where she punches the wall several times until her wrists starts bleeding. When the group is attacked by hijackers and locked up in the mess hall, Octavia feels helpless and continues banging the door senselessly. She feels like it's her responsibility to save her people. Abby tries to calm her down and mentions that the other people in the room are still angry at her. This causes Octavia to once again remind Abby that it was her and Kane's betrayal that brought them into this mess. Octavia makes it clear that she takes no blame for what happened in the bunker. This angers some people, including James, who start hitting her. On realizing their anger, Octavia gives in and lets them beat her. When James puts a knife on her throat, Octavia is ready to die and dares him to kill her. Abby finally intervenes and asks them to let Octavia live with her past haunting her. Octavia breaks down and continues to beg them to kill her.

Later on, when Raven flies some of the key people to the ground to save their friends, Octavia sneaks in as a stowaway and says that she's there to save her brother. She is the one who easily figures out the path their friends took. When they find Bellamy, Clarke and Murphy passed out in Sanctum, Octavia wakes Bellamy up.

In The Children of Gabriel, she continues arguing with her brother, saying that she's here only to save and protect him. Bellamy is upset seeing her around, however with support from Echo, he agrees that she might be helpful in their mission to retrieve the dropship. When the group arrives at the ship, they notice that Madi, Gaia and Diyoza have been paralyzed by a group of hijackers - the Children of Gabriel. Since the Children of Gabriel seem to be leaving, Bellamy suggests waiting them out but Octavia goes in and murders everyone of them in an instant. Because of it, Bellamy tells Octavia that she is not his sister anymore. He exiles her from the ship and leaves her to die alone in the woods. Later, while in the forest, Octavia is ambushed by another group of the Children of Gabriel. She again tries to kill them as well, but they poison her with the plant toxins. She falls, paralyzed.

In The Face Behind the Glass, the Children of Gabriel torture Octavia for information about who else on the ship might be a host besides Clarke. Octavia refuses to tell them anything. They threaten to kill Octavia and Rose - the Royal Blood child they kidnapped from Sanctum. Octavia promises Rose that she will save her and take her home safely. While the Children of Gabriel are arguing about whether to kill them or take them to "the old man," Octavia escapes with Rose. The Children of Gabriel run after them and apprehend them. Luckily, Diyoza arrives just in time to shoot them all. Unfortunately, Tosh, faking to be dead, gets up and quickly kills Rose. Octavia kills Tosh and vows to kill every last one of them. Octavia is so enraged by Rose's murder that she teams with Diyoza to go hunt and kill all the remaining Children of Gabriel and "their old man."

In The Gospel of Josephine, she and Diyoza are chasing after Xavier, who leads them to a swamp-like ground called "the crucible", where they get stuck and begin to sink. He offers to save them after they tell him who else of their people have Blood Alternation. Octavia asks Diyoza to tell him nothing.

While Diyoza remains calm, Octavia actively struggles to go free, which only causes her to sink faster. Diyoza asks Octavia to give up and tell Xavier but Octavia would rather die. Diyoza asks Octavia if she really wants to die and offers to kill Octavia. She points a gun at Octavia's face but Octavia is not scared at all. She figures out that Octavia wants to die because people in her life hate her. Diyoza advises Octavia to stop caring about whether her friends hate her. Being hated by her friends pales in comparison to Diyoza's situation where her face is placed next to the worst people of all time.

Just as Octavia is about to completely sink, they notice a bright flare in the sky. Xavier says it's a temporal flare and it's very dangerous. He throws them a rope to escape and run to safety. However, Octavia is too sunk to move. So, to avoid slowing Diyoza down, she asks Diyoza to run and save her baby. Diyoza promises to come back for her. As the flare hits, Octavia closes her eyes and goes underground. Afterwards, Diyoza comes back to check on Octavia. She starts looking around and notices Octavia's body frozen underneath the ground. She breaks the ice layer and pulls Octavia out. Luckily, Octavia regains consciousness, but her hand looks damaged. Diyoza concludes that Octavia went underground for cover from the flare because she didn't really want to die despite acting like it. Octavia and Diyoza resume their hunt for the Children of Gabriel and their leader.

In Memento Mori, Octavia continues her journey with Diyoza to find the old man. However, her hand is still hurting after being exposed to the temporal flare. Xavier finds them and says he can save them. He and Diyoza retrieve tree sap which is supposed to be the cure but it doesn't work on Octavia. Instead Octavia's arm starts spiraling. After noticing the pattern, Xavier gives her a rock to let the hand draw freely on the ground. She draws a logarithmic spiral, which Xavier recognizes as the shape of The Anomaly where the temporal flare came from. He says that the temporal flare was a message for Octavia that The Anomaly is calling her. After revealing that he has a similar spiral too, Octavia and Diyoza agree to go with Xavier to the anomaly.

In Nevermind, Octavia appears in Josephine's mind in the Second Dawn Bunker. When Josephine appears behind Clarke, she tells them to fight. Instead of fighting, Clarke runs off and ends up in the medical ward of Mount Weather.

In The Old Man and the Anomaly, Octavia starts hallucinating as they get closer to the anomaly. When Xavier leans in to calm her down, Diyoza notices a Mind Drive scar on his neck, realizing that Xavier is in fact Gabriel. Gabriel admits that he's been posing as Xavier and has only kept the Mind Drive because he has no one to remove it. He then tells them that they need to get to the anomaly quickly to save Octavia before time runs out. At the anomaly, Diyoza gets hallucinations in which she sees her future daughter, Hope asking her to come with her. Octavia and Gabriel warn Diyoza against it but Diyoza gets drawn by Hope and holds her hand into the anomaly. In the confusion, Octavia gets sucked into the anomaly but emerges moments later. As they lay side by side on the ground, Gabriel looks at Octavia's arm and confirms that it's been healed by the anomaly.

In What You Take With You, Gabriel takes Octavia back to the Verge where Octavia insists that she doesn't remember anything and points out that she was only in the anomaly for a few seconds. However, as Octavia returned clean and healed, Gabriel thinks it was probably much longer. She had also come out at a run as if Octavia had been running from something. Gabriel decides to use red sun toxin to help Octavia remember.

In her mind, Octavia sees an empty version of Gabriel's tent with two boxes, one with a red light and one with a green light. Octavia chooses the one with the red light and ends up in the arena in the Second Dawn Bunker where she is chained down. Octavia is approached by Charles Pike who suggests that her murder of him set Octavia down her dark path and reminds Octavia of every bad thing she has done. Pike points out that Octavia is hated by everyone, including herself and demands to know what she wants. Octavia finally admits that she wants redemption for her actions, but they are interrupted by Blodreina, representing Octavia's dark side, who demands that Octavia kill Pike again while Pike demands to know who she is: Bellamy's sister or the person who would've watched Bellamy die in the arena. As Blodreina prepares to kill Pike, Octavia realizes that Blodreina's speech is the same Pike gave before executing Lincoln and is horrified at what she became. Octavia saves Pike who disappears and fights Blodreina. Octavia manages to kill Blodreina and declares that she is "Blodreina no more".

After awakening, Octavia has a renewal of purpose and prepares to take off, only to hear a message from Clarke stating that she is the host of Josephine Lightbourne. Gabriel warns that it means that Clarke is in trouble which Octavia realizes means all of her friends are in trouble too. Before she can take off to help them, Gabriel reminds Octavia that Clarke's message said that she was coming to them and states that things are about to get weirder.

In Matryoshka, Octavia and Gabriel locate Clarke's body in an old blind once used by Gabriel and Josephine. The two arrive in time to rescue Clarke from tree vines which are close to strangling her to death. However, Josephine is revealed to be in control and they are captured by Sanctum guards led by Jade. Identifying Gabriel to the guards, Josephine orders him captured and Octavia killed. Before they can, one of the guards shoots the others and reveals himself to be Bellamy in disguise. Completely ignoring his sister's presence, Bellamy orders Jade to return to Sanctum with a warning for Russell Lightbourne before the group returns to the Verge.

At the Verge, Gabriel prepares to remove Josephine from Clarke who is close to death from the strain of holding two minds in her body. Gabriel reveals that he must first stop Clarke's heart temporarily and Josephine tries to convince Gabriel not to go through with it. Gabriel tearfully stops Clarke's heart and removes the Mind Drive, but fails to revive her. Octavia points out that the EEG shows that both Clarke and Josephine's minds are still in Clarke's body and begs Gabriel to save her friend. However, Gabriel believes that the strain of holding two minds is too much for her brain and Clarke can't be saved, leaving Octavia visibly distraught. As Bellamy tries desperately to save Clarke, Octavia tries to comfort her brother who finally acknowledges her and refuses to give up. Clarke is finally revived, leaving Octavia overjoyed as Clarke and Bellamy embrace. Octavia looks at the EEG with Gabriel which shows Josephine's brain wave pattern flatline, Josephine having been destroyed by Clarke for good.

In Ashes to Ashes, Octavia, Bellamy, Clarke and Gabriel are brainstorming on how to get back to Sanctum and save their people. Bellamy keeps ignoring Octavia, calling her the queen of cannibals. Gabriel tries to reconcile them by telling Bellamy that Octavia is special because she returned from the anomaly. When the group is ambushed by Children of Gabriel, Octavia volunteers herself and Bellamy to go collect plant toxins they need to build the weapon against Sanctum. While in the cave, Octavia tells Bellamy that anomaly spit her back so that she can make things right with him. She tells him that she is changed for the better. She says that Bellamy was her compass and she was lost without him. Octavia says that she isn't asking for Bellamy's forgiveness because she knows she has to earn it. All she is asking is for Bellamy to say she's his sister again. This makes Bellamy emotional. Bellamy then tells Octavia that she is his sister but not his responsibility anymore. Octavia is relieved. After that, Bellamy starts avoiding eye contact so that Octavia doesn't see him crying.

Octavia and Bellamy return to the tent where Clarke reveals that they have shifted the plan so that they will only release enough of the toxin to simulate a Red Sun eclipse and cause an evacuation of Sanctum, preventing a potential massacre. However, this plan requires Clarke to pose as Josephine in order to be able to take the radiation shield down. While Bellamy argues against the plan as it risks Clarke's life, Octavia argues for it, stating that if they can spare innocent lives they should. When the Sanctum guards attack, the group is tied up until Jade arrives with Murphy. Clarke pretends to be Josephine to accompany the group and pretends to kill Layla to save her life. Clarke ungags Bellamy who promises to bring the cavalry once Clarke drops the radiation shield. Clarke glances at Octavia who, still gagged, just nods at her in agreement before Clarke leaves.

In Adjustment Protocol, Octavia with Bellamy, Gabriel, and the Children of Gabriel reach the radiation shield and have to wait until Clarke can successfully deactivate it. Gabriel however changes that plan when he hears that multiple Primes will receive a new host in today's naming ceremony and runs through the radiation shield being protected by his Nightblood. As it gets dark Bellamy, Octavia and the C.O.G. group reach Sanctum and the palace. As soon Bellamy speaks out the truth about the Primes - Russell proceeds with the adjustment protocol and releases the Red-Sun-toxin to provoke panic. Octavia, Bellamy, Echo and Miller with the Children of Gabriel tries to hide and waiting till the Red-Sun-toxin looses its effect.

In The Blood of Sanctum Octavia together with Bellamy, Echo and the Children of Gabriel are captured by the Sanctum believers. Just after Tory, a female adjustor kills Layla, John Murphy and Emori walk in pretending to be Daniel and Kaylee Lee. Murphy and Emori release the Earth people and guide them to the palace but as soon the word spread that Russell Lightbourne has left Sanctum the believers start to attack again. As the group reach the palace they finally find Jordan Green who is in a deep hypnosis state - a male adjustor just tries to run away but Octavia knocks him out with a single straight arm. Gabriel asks for support to help release his people, but nobody offers help til Octavia says 'I can not let them die' and demonstrates responsibility for their new ally.

Just now Bellamy, Echo and finally Murphy too offers their support - Murphy leads as Prime taking Gabriel hostage and bring him into the tavern towards the Sanctum believers while Octavia, Bellamy, Echo controls the outside of the tavern. Tory keeps suspicious and locks everybody in while she tries to burn down the whole tavern with everybody inside Octavia, Bellamy and Echo fights everybody down with torches in their hands. Seeing no other chance Tory pours the gas over her body and set herself on fire running towards the tavern - only Octavia can prevent this with a direct run against her which sets her own cloths on fire. On the back of Octavia Gabriel recognize a new tattoo, there are a lot of anomaly hieroglyphs - the tattoo proves Octavia was inside the anomaly much longer than she remembers. On the next morning Bellamy, Octavia, Echo with Gabriel starts towards the C.O.G. head quater camp where Gabriel shows them under the earth the Anomaly Stone hovering in a magnetic field. The Anomaly Stone has the same hieroglyphs as the tattoo on Octavia therefore Gabriel with her help touch all the red marked hieroglyphs and wait. Within a short time the anomaly expands rapidly and reach the camp where Octavia hears a person approaching them - it is the young adult Hope Diyoza the daughter of Charmaine Diyoza.

In From the Ashes, Bellamy begins to call for Octavia only to be abducted by people from Bardo. At the same time, Hope shows no memory after the Anomaly disappears, similar to Octavia herself. As Echo, Gabriel and Hope attempt to ambush the kidnappers, Hope experiences a hallucination of Octavia under the influence of the Red Sun toxin, possibly a memory from when she was younger. Octavia tells Hope that no matter what she hears, she must remain quiet. Octavia promises Hope that "Mommy and Aunty O will come back for you" before backing away and vanishing while continuing to signal Hope to be quiet. Distressed, Hope calls after the hallucination of Octavia.

In The Garden, in a flashback, Octavia emerges from the Temporal Anomaly underwater on Skyring. Reaching the surface, Octavia is amazed to discover her withered arm healed and follows screams to where Diyoza is in the middle of giving birth. Diyoza explains that though Octavia followed her seconds after, it has been three months on Skyring. Octavia helps to deliver Hope and helps Diyoza to start raising her daughter. Though Octavia wants to return through the Anomaly to Sanctum, Diyoza warns that the Anomaly is too deep underwater for Octavia to survive the dive.

Over the next six years, Octavia raises Hope with Diyoza, becoming known as Auntie O. The three become a family though Octavia refuses to give up her quest to return through the Anomaly. One day, while planting a garden with Hope, Octavia discovers the buried corpse of a Disciple and realizes that she can use his suit to reach the Anomaly safely. Octavia refuses Diyoza's pleas and warnings that putting the suit on could warn the man's people of their presence, resulting in Diyoza smashing the helmet to prevent her from using the suit. As Diyoza restrains Octavia, she desperately states that she wants to get back to Bellamy to explain that she understands why he abandoned her to die. Subsequently, Octavia writes a message in a bottle to Bellamy and throws it into the lake in the hopes that it will travel back through the Anomaly and reach her brother.

Content with her new life, Octavia spends the next four years as a family with Diyoza and Hope. One night, Octavia repairs the clothes she was wearing when she came through the Anomaly before a noise draws their attention. Disciples emerge from the expanded Anomaly and reveal that they got Octavia's letter which led them to Skyring. Octavia hides Hope, as in the hallucination the adult Hope experienced under the Red Sun toxin and after a brief fight is subdued. The Disciples place helmets upon Octavia and Diyoza so that they will keep their memories and when Hope emerges from hiding, everyone is gone.

In the present, Hope, Gabriel and Echo emerge from the Anomaly on Skyring centuries after Hope left. Hope reveals that Octavia was on Skyring for ten years and explains some of the events, including mentioning stories Octavia told about her friends and family. Hope reveals that Octavia is still alive and she did not stab her but instead injected her with a locator device which had to go deep to keep Octavia from being turned inside out. The code Octavia entered into the Anomaly Stone was Hope's biometric code while the locator pulled Octavia through the Anomaly in return. Hope had made a deal with Anders, the Disciples' leader, to tag Octavia in exchange for her mother's life, but had always intended to return through Anomaly to rescue them both instead.

In Hesperides, in a flashback, Octavia paints the words Hesperides on a rock and discusses the story of the Hesperides with a 10-year old Hope and compares the story to the life that she, Diyoza and Hope are living. In the present, Gabriel finds the rock and Hope explains the history behind it to him. Despite centuries having passed and the disrepair of the cabin, the Hercules roses Octavia planted are shown to have survived and are blossoming. Hope later tells Echo and Gabriel about a device called Memory Capture that's not torture unless you fight. Octavia had fought it and so did Diyoza. Echo realizes that Bellamy will fight it too.

In Welcome to Bardo, in a flashback, Octavia and Diyoza arrive on Bardo 45 days before the present and Diyoza yells at Octavia not to tell the Disciples anything as she's dragged away. Octavia manages to break free and flees the Disciples, but is eventually recaptured and put into the M-Cap machine by the Disciple leader Anders and the scientist Levitt. Anders has Levitt use the M-Cap to extract Octavia's memories of her friends, developing a particular interest in Clarke Griffin. Levitt becomes interested in Octavia's history, reassuring her that while she is a warrior, she is not a bad person. After learning that years have passed on Skyring while she's been gone, Octavia offers to give Levitt the information that he wants to know in exchange for him helping her return there for Hope. Octavia is eventually rescued by the adult Hope who leads her back to the Anomaly Stone. Siding with the two young women, Levitt reopens the Anomaly to Sanctum, but warns that traveling through the Anomaly to a slower time dilated planet with a Disciple helmet will cause Octavia to lose all memory of the time that she has been gone from Sanctum. With Hope needing the full armor to rescue her mother, Octavia has her keep the helmet and Levitt tattoos Octavia's back with Hope's biometric code so that she can remotely pull Hope through later. After apologizing for not returning for Hope and punching Levitt in the face twice so that he won't be suspected of helping her, Octavia enters the Anomaly and emerges on Sanctum moments after she left, her memory of her ten years away gone.

In another flashback, Hope, having been captured trying to rescue her mother, reluctantly prepares to send Octavia back to Bardo. When Octavia enters Hope's biometric code on the Anomaly Stone, Hope is transported to Sanctum where Octavia greets her and is stabbed, disappearing through the Anomaly. Octavia is returned to Bardo where Anders greets her and sends Octavia to get medical treatment before putting her back in the M-Cap for more information. A week before the current time, Levitt approaches Octavia, about to be taken off of her case. Levitt tells Octavia that he surgically implanted a note to help Hope into her arm before she was sent to Sanctum and encourages her to focus on the mantra "I am not afraid" to resist the M-Cap. They are interrupted by Anders who takes Octavia to the Anomaly room where Bellamy has taken a hostage and demands Octavia back. Unwilling to let Bellamy die for her, Octavia promises to tell Anders all that he wants to know about Clarke if he will send Bellamy back to Sanctum. Anders reopens the Anomaly for Bellamy, but he refuses to abandon his sister despite her pleas. Suddenly, a wounded but still alive Disciple detonates a grenade in a massive explosion, apparently killing Bellamy much to Octavia's grief.

In the present, Echo, Hope and Gabriel finally locate Octavia in the M-Cap where Levitt has been replaced by Jeremiah. Still repeating her mantra to resist the machine, the devastated Octavia shows her friends the memory of Bellamy's apparent death. Consumed by rage and grief, Echo kills Jeremiah.

In Anaconda, when Clarke demands to see her friends, Diyoza, Echo and Octavia are sent into the Stone room wearing full Disciple armor and seemingly fully brainwashed to their cause.

In A Little Sacrifice, a shocked Clarke demands that Cadogan allow all of her people to return to Sanctum in exchange for her help in using the Flame. However, Echo states that they aren't going anywhere as they have a war to fight. Echo leaves the room followed by Octavia and Diyoza with Octavia not saying a word as she leaves. When Clarke demands to know what was done to her friends, Anders simply states that they are now ready to serve mankind in the last war. After the Disciples, aside from Cadogan, are evacuated from the Stone room, Gabriel explains that the Disciples think that Clarke has the Flame due to seeing Octavia's memory of Clarke using it to destroy A.L.I.E. The group realizes that the fact that Echo, Octavia and Diyoza never told the Disciples the truth means that they are only playing along with the Disciples and have not really joined them.

Returned to their room, Octavia becomes annoyed with Diyoza's pacing and anger over Hope's unwillingness to play along, reassuring her friend that they will get Hope out before she is sent to Skyring. As Diyoza wonders how, Clarke, Nathan Miller and Raven enter and Clarke and Octavia immediately share a hug. The two apologize to each other while Diyoza expresses surprise at the lack of guards. Raven explains that Clarke threatened not to help with the Flame if the Disciples got in their way. Raven compliments Octavia on not telling the Disciples the truth about the Flame and she explains that she thought it was good leverage since they were bound to show up eventually. Looking at a silent Miller, Octavia tells her old friend that they're glad that they did before hugging him. After a moment, the surprised Miller returns the hug at Octavia's insistence.

Hope suddenly arrives, causing everyone to turn their guns on her before Diyoza reassures them that Hope is not one of the Disciples. Hope instantly recognizes Clarke, Raven and Miller from her mother's descriptions of them and Diyoza explains that Hope is her daughter and that "time dilation's a bitch." Hope insists that they need to get off of Bardo immediately and that there is currently no time for explanations or introductions. As they leave the room, Clarke realizes that Echo is missing and Hope brushes it off, stating that Echo will catch up which no one believes and Octavia quickly realizes that Echo is getting revenge for Bellamy. Hope warns them that they only have 45 minutes to get off of Bardo and that she doesn't know what Echo's plan is, just that Levitt helped her with it and didn't tell Hope more because Echo knew they'd get it out of Hope and try and stop her. Worried about Levitt, Octavia heads off to check on him followed by the others.

Clarke's group discovers a tied-up and beaten Levitt who admits that he broke after Echo killed two people in front of him. Levitt states that he was forced to help Echo get Gen-9, the bioweapon that wiped out the native Bardoans and will deploy it through the central humidification system on the Machine Level. Raven realizes that it will take time to go from its entry point to the vents and Echo will make a run for the Stone room. Hope insists that they should too while they still have time. Levitt begs Octavia to release him so that he can get help, but Hope warns Octavia that if they do, the Disciples will kill Echo. Octavia decides to replace the gag in Levitt's mouth as she and the others go after Echo.

As Echo is about to release Gen-9, Hope and the others show up to stop her, upsetting Echo as Hope was supposed to get them all out. Octavia attempts to talk Echo down, understanding her desire for revenge over the loss of Bellamy. Octavia insists that there are good people on Bardo, but Echo is dismissive of this, pointing out that Levitt stole Octavia's memories from her and in the process, put everyone into this situation in the first place. Clarke steps forward and tries to convince Echo that this is the wrong thing to do based on her own experiences with making choices when there was another solution and that they can learn to live with their grief, but deciding to commit genocide is something that will always stay with them.

However, Echo states that their situations are different as Clarke only takes lives to save the people that she loves while Echo is killing everyone on Bardo for vengeance "pure and simple." Echo believes that if the Disciples had killed any of them, that Bellamy would be doing the exact same thing. Raven insists that Bellamy wouldn't do it, that while the Bellamy that helped to massacre a sleeping army sent to protect Arkadia might've done it, the Bellamy that Spacekru spent six years on the Ark with, the one that Echo loved, would not. Raven calls Echo her sister and says that her sister wouldn't do it. Clearly conflicted, Echo states that Raven is wrong and moves Gen-9 over the humidification system again. Raven refuses to leave Echo, promising that if Echo releases the bioweapon, she will stay right there and Echo will have to kill her too. Breaking down in tears, Echo finally relents and Raven pulls her into a hug as Diyoza takes the Gen-9 from Echo's hand.

Before the group can leave, they are interrupted by Anders who is enraged at Echo killing three more Disciples, torturing Levitt and attempting to use Gen-9 to commit genocide. The situation dissolves into a standoff when 4 Disciple guards decloak behind Anders who agrees to send Echo to Skyring for 20 years for punishment unless Clarke fails to help them use the final code to begin the last war in which case Echo will die on Skyring instead.

Suddenly, Hope states that she has a better idea, "you die here" and slits Anders' throat, killing him. As Anders drops Gen-9, Hope catches it and attempts to release a single drop into the humidification system. However, Diyoza catches the drop in the palm of her hand and shuts the hatch on humidification system. As Diyoza begins to crystalize from the bioweapon, Hope tries to rush to her mother's side but is restrained by Octavia while Diyoza orders the others to get Hope out. Octavia drags a desperate Hope from the room as she shouts apologizes at her mother for her actions. In her last moments, Diyoza tells Hope "don't waste it little one. Be better than me." Screaming in grief, Hope watches as her mother, Anders' body and the entire room is crystalized.

In Etherea, Clarke and her friends have been given Cadogan's quarters despite the murder of Anders and their other actions due to their control over the Flame. Sitting at the table with Gabriel, Echo and Octavia, Clarke acknowledges that if the Disciples didn't believe that she has the Flame, they would be in cells. Heading for the door, Clarke states that she is going to wake the others as it's time to go back to Sanctum, but Gabriel reminds her that they are under house arrest. Aware of that fact along with the fact that their leverage will disappear the moment that she's put in front of the Anomaly Stone, Clarke announces that she's going to offer to do it as soon as the rest of her friends are safely back on Sanctum. Octavia points out that the Disciples will kill Clarke once they know the truth and Echo refuses to let Clarke sacrifice herself for them.

The door opens and Cadogan enters escorted by Doucette and armed Disciples. Clarke starts to make her offer to Cadogan, only to have him usher in a still-alive Bellamy, much to the group's shock and pleasure. The Disciples prevent Octavia from approaching Bellamy and Echo questions how it's possible since they saw him die. Octavia comments that "it's hard to keep the Blakes down" and Clarke pulls Bellamy into a hug which Cadogan allows since she has the Key. Under cover of the hug, Clarke whispers into Bellamy's ear that the Key is the Flame and that the Disciples believe that it's still in her head and orders him to say nothing. As Clarke breaks the hug, Cadogan expresses hope that Clarke is now willing to help them, stating that too much blood has already been spilled and each death is a child of Earth who won't transcend. Cadogan begins leaving to give them time to reunite while the Disciples make preparations but, to Clarke, Octavia, Echo and Gabriel's shock, Bellamy, who is now completely loyal to the Disciple cause, reveals that Clarke doesn't have the Flame and that it has been destroyed, negating Clarke's group's leverage over the Disciples.

Personality[]

Octavia is uninhibited and fierce. After being hidden her entire childhood in order to keep from being discovered Octavia is free for the first time in her life, something she embraces even as she struggles with it. She is brave and self-confident. Octavia has a short temper and is prone to outbursts and violence. She sees only in black and white, and judges people harshly as a result. She cares deeply for the people she loves, including her brother Bellamy and her deceased lover, Lincoln. Starting in "We Are Grounders (Part 2)" Octavia is shown to be much more violent and after becoming Indra's Second in "Survival of the Fittest," she more and more acts like a Grounder in her approach to violence.

Winning the Final Conclave, Octavia become the leader of Wonkru. While at first she tried to benevolent, Kara Cooper's coup forced her to take extreme measures. Similar to how things were on the Ark, she made all crimes capital crimes, punishable by fights to the death. Two years later, when food supplies ran short during the "Dark Year", Wonkru had to cannibalize the dead. Abby advised Octavia that eating should be required, and told her to punish those for not eating. Later, Octavia killed three people for refusing to eat. This event made Octavia think of herself as a monster, which causes her to become even more darker and ruthless. After six years in the bunker, Octavia emerges as a brutal dictator willing to kill anyone who challenges her power. She orders to kill any defectors and is willing to use parasitical worms in Shallow Valley. Octavia initially accepts Madi even though, as a Nightblood, Madi is a potential threat to leadership. Later, Octavia intends to execute Clarke, who is Madi's mother figure, without telling Madi and while using her to conquer Shallow Valley. Once Madi takes the Flame, she orders a guard to kill her. In "Damocles (Part 1)", Octavia starts to realize that she broke Wonkru and tries to sacrifice herself for the others. She willingly gives up leadership of Wonkru to Madi and helps Abby save Kane in the season finale.

In "What You Take With You," Octavia recognizes that she wants redemption for her actions and is horrified by what she became, particularly after seeing a hallucination of Blodreina preparing to execute Charles Pike and reciting the same words that Pike said before executing Lincoln. Octavia symbolically kills Blodreina and declares that she is Blodreina no more. Instead, she has become determined to seek redemption and to save her friends. In "Ashes to Ashes," Octavia states a belief that without Bellamy to help guide her, she became lost. In her new mindset, Octavia is far less violent, advocating openly for Clarke's plan as it doesn't risk innocent lives to save their friends. Octavia works hard to protect innocent people during the activation of the Adjustment Protocol and shows continuing remorse for her past. In "The Blood of Sanctum," Octavia understands that the Sanctum Citizens still worship the Primes because if they accept the truth, then their lives mean nothing. Octavia admits that this is the same reason she burned the hydro farm.

In "The Garden," Octavia is revealed to have lived a forgotten life on Skyring with Diyoza and her daughter Hope. During her ten years on the planet, Octavia became an aunt to Hope and they formed a family. Octavia remained obsessed for the first six years with getting back to Sanctum no matter the cost, tearfully admitting that she wants to return to Bellamy and tell her brother that she understands why he left her behind. After the more practical Diyoza foils her last attempt at returning, Octavia gives up and after sending a message in a bottle to her brother through the Anomaly, settles into a simpler life with Diyoza and Hope. During this time, Octavia appears to find a sense of peace and contentment, truly enjoying a life away from war and conflict. The arrival of the Disciples interrupts this new life with Octavia's first instinct being to protect Hope from danger rather than rush into battle. However, due to passing through the Anomaly back to Sanctum, Octavia had lost all memory of her time on Skyring with Hope and Diyoza which caused her to revert back to the Octavia she was before entering the Anomaly. After Hope returns to her, Octavia regains her memories, before being sent through the Anomaly.

Physical Appearance[]

Octavia has pale skin, green eyes, and long dark brown hair. She has a toned build and is of average height. Octavia appears to be in her mid-teens. She bears a similar appearance to both her mother and her brother, though she and Bellamy are half-siblings. Later she is seen to wear war paint like a Grounder. In the original pilot script, she is described as strikingly beautiful.

OctaviaTattoo305

Octavia has a tattoo on her right shoulder and upper arm, first seen in "Wanheda (Part 2)" and is similar in design to Lincoln's tattoos.

Octavia goes through an adjustment to her appearance that debuts in "Red Queen". Her dark brown hair is cut to shoulder length. And, she opts for a red and black color palette in regards to makeup. Her new war paint resembles blood. It is presumed that this is to authenticate her new title of Blodreina.

In Season Six, after arriving on Sanctum and particularly after entering the anomaly and wanting redemption for her past as Blodreina, Octavia discards her more threatening look. Instead, she now wears regular clothes with none of her Grounder makeup, appearing far more like she did when she first came to Earth from the Ark.

Relationships[]

Bellamy Blake[]

- Octavia to Indra[src]
"My brother, my responsibility."
- Octavia to Bellamy

Bellamy is Octavia's older brother. Bellamy's and Octavia's sibling relationship starts before the first episode of season one at Octavia's birth. After Octavia was discovered and locked up, Bellamy shot Chancellor Jaha as part of a larger conspiracy to gain control of the Ark. In return he is able to stow away on the Delinquents' drop ship so he could protect his sister on the ground. Throughout Season One, Bellamy is overly protective of Octavia to the point of them getting into numerous fights, often acting more as a father than a brother. Eventually, he acknowledges his sister is stronger than he thought and in "We Are Grounders (Part 2)", Bellamy says goodbye to Octavia and allows her to leave with Lincoln after she is injured in the war.

Bellamy and Octavia are reunited again in Season Two when Octavia saves him from Grounders in "Many Happy Returns". Bellamy then helps Octavia find Lincoln and treat him through his Reaper drug withdrawals in "Long Into an Abyss". After Bellamy infiltrates Mount Weather with the help of Lincoln in "Survival of the Fittest", Octavia refuses to leave him behind, sacrificing her chance to be a Trikru warrior in "Blood Must Have Blood (Part 1)". Bellamy then saves her life by irradiating all of Mount Weather in "Blood Must Have Blood (Part 2)".

In Season Three Octavia is feeling out of place in Arkadia. Bellamy acknowledges her need to leave and find herself, making sure she know she will always have a place with him. As tensions between the Sky People and the grounders rise again, the siblings found themselves at odds as Bellamy is unable to trust the grounders after the events of previous seasons and Octavia tries to reach him. Bellamy realizes his mistakes but too late for Octavia to accept him. She blames Bellamy for everything that happened, including the death of her lover Lincoln which he tried to prevent. Octavia disowned Bellamy, and he believes he has lost her forever even as he tries to prevent her from making the same dark mistakes he did.

Lincoln[]

"...Thank you."
- Lincoln's first words to Octavia

Lincoln first met Octavia when she had been injured after falling from a steep hill. He chained her up in a cave and took care of her injuries, preventing her from being found by the other Grounders and she thanks him but escapes. After her brother, Bellamy, finds her, he takes Lincoln hostage tortures him for information on the grounders killing them, much to Octavia's dismay. Octavia frees Lincoln in "Day Trip" while her brother is gone and the rest of the delinquents are hallucinating from some bad nuts. In "Unity Day", Lincoln takes an arrow for Octavia, saving her life. He saves her life again in "We Are Grounders (Part 2)" when he leaves with her in the midst of battle because of the arrow in her leg, this time with Bellamy's blessing.

In "The 48", Lincoln returns to his village and almost certain death in order to get medicine to treat Octavia's poisoned wound. After he is captured by Reapers, Octavia does not give up hope of finding him, finally succeeding in "Fog of War". Octavia then works with Clarke and Bellamy to revert Lincoln back from a Reaper in "Long Into an Abyss" and continues helping him in his struggle to overcome his addiction to the Reaper red drug in "Rubicon". In "Blood Must Have Blood (Part 2)", Lincoln again picks Octavia over the Grounders and risks the alliance between the Mountain Men and the Grounders in order to go after Octavia at Mount Weather.

In Season Three their relationship is strained as Lincoln attempts to integrate into Arkadia and Octavia feels more and more disconnected from her people. Later Lincoln sacrifices himself, allowing Octavia and the resistance against Charles Pike to escape Arkadia. When Lincoln is executed by Pike she is devastated, reacting violently and placing the blame on Bellamy as much as Pike. In Perverse Instantiation (Part 2), she attacks Pike during the battle against A.L.I.E., but he survives. Later, after the battle ends, she kills Pike, finally getting her revenge.

In What You Take With You, after witnessing Blodreina prepare to execute Pike in her mind and seeing the parallels to the execution of Lincoln, Octavia realizes what a monster she truly became and discards her past as Blodreina for good. This also indicates that even after so long since Lincoln's death, Octavia still loves him deeply.

Indra[]

"I said what do you want, Octavia of the sky people?"
- Indra to Octavia as she holds Nyko captive[src]

Octavia and Indra initially started off as enemies when Octavia kidnapped Nyko to save Lincoln. Indra agreed to swap Lincoln for Nyko since Nyko was their only healer. After both Lincoln and Nyko are taken by Reapers, Indra allows Octavia to be the bait to get them back. Octavia saves Indra during a battle with Reapers and Indra allows Octavia to live.

After an alliance is formed with the Grounders and Sky People, Indra takes her grounders to train at Camp Jaha where Octavia wants to train with her but Indra refuses. As the Grounders are about to leave camp, Octavia stops them and Indra finally lets her fight with Fio, one of her warriors. Fio easily beats up Octavia but she refuses to give up until Indra finally calls it off. When Octavia is recovering from her battle, Indra comes up to her and says that she sees a "strength of spirit" in her and asks her to be her Second. Octavia agrees and begins her warrior training under Indra, going so far as to tell Clarke that she only takes orders from Indra now.

When Lexa betrays the Sky People and sounds the retreat against Mount Weather, Octavia remains behind, causing Indra to disown her as a Second. Later, however, Indra helps Lincoln escape so Lincoln can find Octavia.

Season Three shows continued respect between the two, Indra claiming Octavia as her people.

Clarke Griffin[]

Main article: Clarke and Octavia
"I'll fight this war with you now because I want our friends back. But after that, we're done."
- Octavia to Clarke[src]

Clarke and Octavia meet in Season One when they are in the group of Delinquents sent to Earth by The Council. In the "Pilot", Octavia joins Clarke on her initial expedition to Mount Weather and Clarke helps Octavia after she is injured by a water snake. After Jasper is rescued in "Earth Skills", Octavia helps Clarke care for his injuries in "Earth Kills". In "His Sister's Keeper", Clarke volunteers to help Bellamy search for Octavia. In "Contents Under Pressure", Octavia at first assists Clarke with Finn's stab wound but their relationship becomes strained when Lincoln is brought into the drop ship and Clarke condones his torture under Octavia's protests. Clarke discovers in "Unity Day" that it was Octavia with Lincoln's help who arranged the meeting with Anya at the bridge. When the Delinquents fall sick in "I Am Become Death", Clarke sends Octavia off to Lincoln to find a cure. When Clarke and Finn are captured by Anya, Lincoln helps them escape in "We Are Grounders (Part 1)" because of his relationship with Octavia and asks Clarke to get Octavia to safety.

After the battle at the Camp, Clarke and Octavia are reunited again in Season Two when Octavia arrives at Camp Jaha with Bellamy in "Human Trials". Octavia leads Clarke and Bellamy to Tondc where they discover Finn has massacred most of the village. In "Long Into an Abyss", Clarke helps Octavia with Lincoln when they discover he has been turned into a Reaper. Octavia discovers Clarke knew ahead of time about the missile landing on Tondc in "Bodyguard of Lies" and dissolves their friendship. They get in an argument again When Clarke arrives at the Mount Weather intake door in "Blood Must Have Blood (Part 2)". After the take-down of Mount Weather, Clarke leaves Octavia behind along with the rest of the Delinquents at Camp Jaha.

Octavia struggles with Clarke in Season Three, believing Clarke to be hiding from her people and forcing Clarke to acknowledge that she is not helping her people in Polis but is simply hiding. Octavia still sees Clarke as a leader, and is willing to follow her in the fight against A.L.I.E.

In Season Six, despite their fraught history, Octavia becomes determined to help save Clarke as part of her seeking redemption for her actions. When Clarke apparently dies in Matryoshka, Octavia is visibly distraught even as she tries to comfort Bellamy and overjoyed when Clarke is saved.

In Season Seven, after reuniting with each other on Bardo, Clarke and Octavia reconcile and make amends with each other.

Aurora Blake[]

Octavia is Aurora's second child. Aurora and Octavia seemed to have a very close relationship. As Octavia got older, she often wished to leave the safety of her home. Sixteen years after Octavia's birth, Aurora was floated when she was discovered. Octavia was thrown into juvenile lockup and never saw her mother again. Aurora's death greatly affected Octavia. On Earth, at one point, Octavia blames Bellamy for Aurora's death in anger.

Jasper Jordan[]

Main article: Octavia and Jasper
"I'd go through hell and back to find her."
- Jasper regarding Octavia's disappearance.[src]

Jasper is one of Octavia's best friends. Although he had romantic feelings for her in Season 1, Octavia did not return them. Throughout Season One, Jasper flirts with her and tries to act brave to gain her love. While at a river, Octavia is attacked by a river serpent and Jasper saves her. Not long after, when the Grounders toss a spear that impales Jasper, Octavia shows great concern for him, assuming he was killed. In "Earth Kills", Octavia watches over a severely wounded Jasper after he is found and comforts him. When he awakens, Octavia is glad to see him alive. In "Murphy's Law", she stands by his side as him and Monty attempt to contact the Ark. Monty fails and shuts off all the wristbands. Jasper begins saying how he wasn't brave, but Octavia kisses him and says that he's brave. Their relationship is stunted when Jasper fires the first shot in the episode "Unity Day". Talking to Monty, Octavia seems to be annoyed with him.

Jasper helps Octavia with her grief over Lincoln's death. They're shared bond of loss seems to have brought them closer.

Marcus Kane[]

Main article: Kane and Octavia

Octavia and Kane have a mutual respect for each other and Kane acts in a fatherly way toward her. In "Survival of the Fittest", Kane picks her up out of the mud after she is beaten by Fio and asks her what she's trying to prove to which she replies, "Ge smak daun, gyon op nodotaim." Later, he acknowledges that Octavia is the one who brought the Grounders together with the Sky People. He asks her to "look out for [her] people," she replies that she is. Octavia is the one to find Kane in the rubble in "Survival of the Fittest". Kane is the first person Octavia releases in Mount Weather when she retrieves the keys after the irradiation of Level 5 in "Blood Must Have Blood (Part 2)".

In Season Three, Kane shows to have more trust in Octavia. In "Watch the Thrones", they are on the same side in the conflict at camp between Pike and the others. Kane sends Octavia outside of the walls in his place to rendezvous with Clarke in "Hakeldama". He helps her and Clarke escape Arkadia later in the episode with Abby's help. In "Bitter Harvest", Octavia spies on Pike's people for Kane, keeping him informed on what they are doing outside of the walls of Arkadia. She informs him that they are willing to kill a kid to keep whatever they're doing secret, that he has to find out what Pike's up to. He tells her to "be safe." Octavia helps Kane escape execution in "Stealing Fire" with the help of others and he carries her out of Arkadia when Lincoln drugs her to sacrifice himself to allow their escape. In "Perverse Instantiation (Part 1)", Octavia is unable to harm Kane too much when he is attacking her and Indra under A.L.I.E.'s control.

Charmaine Diyoza[]

Main article: Octavia and Diyoza

Octavia and Diyoza were enemies during the Battle for Eden, but became allies after they were both banished from Sanctum. When Octavia got caught in a temporal flare, Diyoza saved her.

They also teamed up to hunt the Children of Gabriel, specifically The Old Man, who turns out to be their allie in the hunt Gabriel Santiago. When in an altercation, Octavia is struck by an temporal flare, Dioza worries for her well being, and frees her from being forzen underground. The two follow Gabriel in his quest to heal Octavia's aging arm, which leads them to the Anomaly, where Diyoza is tempted to go in, followed by a concerned Octavia.

When Octavia finds herself on the other side, she discovers that due to time dialation, Diyoza had been alone for 3 months and is in labour of Hope, which Octavia helps birth. Diyoza introduces Octavia to the newborn Hope as her friend, solidifying their new familial bonds, now that they're stranded in a planet alone.

Diyoza and Octavia spend 10 years together, raising Hope and making a life out of their planet Skyring. During those 10 years, Octavia spends 6 attempting to reach the anomaly portal at the bottom, much to Diyoza's annoyance, as she wishes she'd dedicate more time to raising Hope and embracing the inevitable: their new life. Even though they're close, as the only two humans there, Octavia doesn't hesitate to leave when she finds a suit buried in the groud, hurting Diyoza who's afraid that if Octavia leaves, both her and Hope will die alone before she comes back. As a way to keep her, Diyoza destroys the suit's helmet, which causes tension between the two. They fight, leading Diyoza to admit that she needs Octavia and that they're happy as a family, leading the two to reconsile, though not without some friction.

By the 10th year, Octavia's note to Bellamy alerts Bardo who come capture the two of them for questioning, and they're seperated, until the two finally reuniyte when Octavia returns to Bardo after the events of the Adjustment Protocol. The two team up, alongside Hope, Echo and Gabriel, to escape the compound and return home, and are forced to intergrate in Bardo's society to survive, using each other as drive to escape.

Levitt[]

Main article: Octavia and Levitt

The relationship between Octavia Blake and Levitt starts out antagonistic towards each other when Octavia is recaptured by Disciple leader Anders and the scientist Levitt.

During Octavia's attempted escapes from the Bardo compound, Levitt was always an allie, and when he directs her towards the exit of the compound, where he recommends they hide away in, she chooses to trust him even when she's told the planet isn't survivable. She sees the change she's made in him by offering another point of view then the one he was raised to worship, through M-Cap, and Levitt is clearly inspired by her actions on Earth. The two are playful with each other, even after all the times Octavia is forced to physically injure him as a way to absolve him from suspicion and keep him as an allie.

Eventually, during Octavia's integration into the army, Levitt warns her that the last part of the test is the hardest and that they must pass by controling their emotions. Octavia banters with him until the two end up sleeping together in Octavia's quarters.

-- in The Dark Year

Jordan Green: "My father saved us all."
Octavia Blake: "Wrong. I did that."
-- in Red Sun Rising
Charmaine Diyoza: "How about we pass the time by you telling us how someone dedicated to the destruction of the immortal Primes took a new body? I mean dying sucks -- I get it -- but not being willing to die for your cause makes you a coward where I come from."
Gabriel Santiago: "I left Sanctum, but Sanctum didn't leave me."
Charmaine Diyoza: "What the hell does that mean?"
Gabriel Santiago: "It means I still had the Drive in my head but no one to remove it. I eventually taught someone -- Eduardo, a Null infant rescued from the Offering Grove. I loved him like a son. Unfortunately, once he learned to perform the procedure, he refused."
Charmaine Diyoza: "Why?"
Gabriel Santiago: "By then, Xavier was born. He had the blood. Eduardo believed it was a sign, a free-born host. I thought I convinced him otherwise, but when my last body died, he finally wiped Xavier and brought me back."
Josephine Lightbourne (hallucination): "He loved you too much to lose you. I know the feeling."
Gabriel Santiago: "Once I resurrected and realized what he did, I killed him in a fit of rage and assumed Xavier's identity out of shame."
Charmaine Diyoza: "No one else knew. That's why they think you abandoned them."
Octavia Blake: "They were right. He's a coward."
Charmaine Diyoza (hearing children laughing): "Did you hear that?"
Gabriel Santiago (as Octavia collapses in his arms) "Hey, hey."
Octavia Blake: "You didn't abandon your people. You were just afraid to lead them."
Gabriel Santiago: "I was trying to take down a system dedicated to the worship of false gods."
Josephine Lightbourne (hallucination): "A system you helped create."
Gabriel Santiago: "I became a false god all over again. Understand? (Octavia hums in agreement) Good. Come on. You don't have much longer, and we still got a ways to go."
-- in The Old Man and the Anomaly
Gabriel Santiago: "Welcome back. Tell me what you remember."
Octavia Blake: "Um, nothing."
Gabriel Santiago: "Nothing? Nothing at all? You followed Diyoza into the Anomaly. Come on. Think. When you came out, you were running from something. What was it?"
Octavia Blake: "I told you, I don't know."
Gabriel Santiago: "I've been waiting 150 years. Maybe you need a little help." (removes a canister from a hidden trunk)
Octavia Blake: "What is that?"
Gabriel Santiago: "Red Sun toxin, highly concentrated. Stay back."
Octavia Blake: "That's the same stuff we saw in the air on the way to the Anomaly."
Gabriel Santiago: "Good. You were paying attention. This will be much more intense than that. It's amazing stuff, really. Produced deep in the ground. It's given off by trees. It drives every living creature in Sanctum mad. They kill themselves and the moon feeds on their corpses. Josephine theorized that it's why life here never evolved beyond reptile phase. Humans weren't supposed to come, but we did. And as we do, we made improvements. Trust me, this will help you remember."
Octavia Blake: "What if there's nothing to remember? I was only gone for a few seconds."
Gabriel Santiago: "Right. And yet you came back healed. Your hair is clean, Octavia, maybe even longer. You were running toward me instead of away as if -- I don't know -- someone or something was chasing you. Look, listen to me, until tonight, no one has ever come out of the Anomaly, ok? No one. Now, I believe you were gone for much longer than just a few seconds and that you came back for a reason. I want to know where you went and why you returned. Why don't you?"
Octavia Blake: "Have you ever done this?"
Gabriel Santiago: "A long, long time ago. Russell and I used it to find out whether any trace of a host's mind remained after resurrection. The answer was no. Instead, it unlocked parts of our own minds, things we'd hidden from ourselves, answers to what our greater purpose was. His was to turn us into gods. Mine was to make sure that he couldn't."
Octavia Blake: "What's mine?"
Gabriel Santiago: "Maybe we'll find that out, too. Come on. You can trust me. I'll be monitoring you the whole time, acting as your guide, what we call an Adjuster. Once you're under, you'll want to follow signs of the Anomaly."
Octavia Blake: "Signs? What signs? (Gabriel has vanished and Octavia hears her name coming from a green glowing box) Now that's a sign. (sees a red shaking box) Red light, green light."
-- in What You Take With You
Octavia Blake: "What do you want? Leave me alone!"
Charles Pike: "I'm sorry, I can't do that. We've got unfinished business you and I."
Octavia Blake: "Wrong, Pike. You killed Lincoln, and you died for it. End of story."
Charles Pike: "Was it? You think murdering someone in cold blood, even someone you have reason to hate, is justifiable?"
Octavia Blake: "Yes."
Charles Pike: "And yet it turned you into this."
Octavia Blake: "Think what you want, I'm not here for you."
Charles Pike: "No. You're here because of me. The path to the future goes through the past, Miss Blake. Psychology 101. We are what we've done and what's been done to us. Now, you've had a rough go, I'll give you that. And it's made your dark side strong. I suppose you needed that to protect yourself under the floor. But what about now? Who are you now? What do you want, Octavia?"
Octavia Blake: "I want you gone."
Charles Pike: "You tried that. Didn't take. It has to be something else."
-- in What You Take With You
Charles Pike: "Ok. Because class is in session, allow me to facilitate the discussion. How does it feel to know that... everyone hates you, everyone you care about, even your brother?"
Octavia Blake: "Not good."
Charles Pike: "Oh, I expect not. But that's not the worst part, is it? You hate yourself too. Good. One more time. What do you want?"
Octavia Blake: "Forgiveness."
Charles Pike: "Deeper. Much, much deeper. Forgiveness is for minor offenses. You murdered people to get them to eat their friends and families. And then you burned the farm to get them to march because you couldn't live with the idea of not getting to that valley, even when there was another way. You got 400 people killed in that gorge. You caused the world to be destroyed. What you want needs to be earned. Now say it!"
Octavia Blake: "Redemption."
Charles Pike: "What's that? I can't hear you."
Octavia Blake: "Redemption!"
Charles Pike: "Ding, ding, ding! A gold star for Miss Blake. I was trying to earn mine when you put a sword through me. Which brings us to big question number two -- what are you willing to do to get it?"
Octavia Blake: "What if I don't deserve it?"
Charles Pike: "Deserves got nothing to do with it."
-- in What You Take With You
Blodreina: "Pick up the sword and strike him down. Do what you know has to do be done."
Charles Pike: "Here we go again. Doing the same thing and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. Einstein said that."
Blodreina: "And I say you are Wonkru or you are the enemy of Wonkru. Choose!"
Charles Pike: "I'll ask you again. Who are you now Miss Blake -- your brother's sister, or the monster who would have watched him die in this very arena?"
Octavia Blake (starts muttering to herself): "I am not afraid."
Blodreina: "Yes, you are. You always have been. My God, your pathetic. I guess she needs me after all. Charles Pike of Farm Station, you have been sentenced to death in accordance to the laws of Wonkru.
Charles Pike (flashback): "You have been sentenced to death in accordance with the Exodus Charter."
Blodreina: "Any last words?"
Lincoln (flashback) and Charles Pike: "Not for you."
Charles Pike and Lincoln (both in Trigedasleng to Octavia): "May we meet again."
-- in What You Take With You
Blodreina: "Bad choice. Congratulations. You die instead."
-- in What You Take With You
Octavia Blake (in Trigedasleng) "Blodreina no more."
-- in What You Take With You
Octavia Blake: "I know what I have do now."
Gabriel Santiago: "What are you talking about? What happened inside the Anomaly?"
Octavia Blake: "I still don't know. I'm sorry."
Gabriel Santiago: "Wait. Please. I think I deserve an explanation."
Octavia Blake: "Deserves got nothing to do with it. The Anomaly gave me a second chance. And now I need to earn it."
-- in What You Take With You
Jericho (radio transmission): "Jericho to Providence. We have a prisoner that claims the Primes can now make hosts. If you're out there..." (transmission becomes indecipherable)
Clarke Griffin (radio transmission): "Gabriel, my name is Clarke Griffin. Josephine Lightbourne is in my head. If you can hear this, we're coming to you."
Gabriel Santiago: "You know her? (Octavia nods) If Josephine is in her head, then she's in all kinds of trouble."
Octavia Blake: "Then my people are, too. I have to go."
Gabriel Santiago: "What for? She's coming here. Things are about to get weird."
-- in What You Take With You
Octavia Blake: "Bellamy!"
Josephine Lightbourne: "Because of course it is."
-- in Matryoshka
Bellamy Blake: "No, I'm not losing you again. Come on Clarke, come on. Clarke I need you, Madi needs you! Now wake up!"
Octavia Blake: "Bellamy, she's gone."
Bellamy Blake: "No, she's not! Wake up, Clarke! Come on! I'm not letting you go. You're a fighter! Now get up and fight! Get up and fight!"
-- in Matryoshka
Bellamy Blake: "What do you want me to say, O?"
Octavia Blake: "Say I'm your sister."
Bellamy Blake: "You're my sister. But you're not my responsibility. Not anymore."
-- in Ashes to Ashes
Bellamy Blake: "I don't understand. We told them the truth. Why are they still doing this?"
Octavia Blake: "If they accept the truth, their lives mean nothing. That's why I burnt the farm."
-- in The Blood of Sanctum
Octavia Blake: "I can't let these people die, Bell."
Bellamy Blake: "Side by side, like it's meant to be."
Echo: "I guess it's time to do better."
Emori: "Kaylee Prime, at your service."
John Murphy: "Emori…"
Emori: "John, it's okay. Someone needs to stay behind and look after Miller and Jordan."
Gabriel Santiago: "Excuse me. Sorry. Kaylee was against the Adjustment Protocol, that's why they believed it when you took them all away. It has to be Daniel."
John Murphy: "Fine. But if I die, you're bringing me back."
Gabriel Santiago: "No, I'm not."
John Murphy: "Please lie to me. Being a god should be more fun than this."
-- in The Blood of Sanctum

Octavia Blake (hallucination): "Hope. You have to stay quiet. No matter what you hear, you stay quiet. Do you understand?" (Hope shakes her head and moves towards Octavia)
Gabriel Santiago: "Hope, Hope, Hope. It's just in your mind."
Octavia Blake (hallucination): "I promise you, Mommy and Aunty O will come back for you. Now, shh." (Octavia backs up and vanishes)
Hope Diyoza: "No, no, don't--."
-- in From the Ashes
Levitt: "You're not a killer, Octavia. You're a warrior to be sure, but your heart is pure."
Octavia Blake: "Wait till you meet Blodreina."
-- in Welcome to Bardo
Anders: "Hello, Ms. Blake. Hmm. Be thankful you came back in one piece. Get her to Medical. I want her back in M-Cap by the end of the day. We're not finished yet."
-- in Welcome to Bardo
Hope Diyoza: "Mom?"
Octavia Blake: "Diyoza."
Charmaine Diyoza: "Oh my god, Hope!"
-- in Nakara
Octavia Blake: "You're a janitor."
Levitt: "Heh. Yeah. Still on the code-breaking team, though. They need me for that."
Octavia Blake: "Of course."
Levitt: "It was worth it. To see another way to live, to feel what you made me feel. Now punch me again and run."
-- in Nakara
Echo: "Do you know why Azgeda warriors scar their own faces?"
Octavia Blake: "Echo?"
Echo: "We do it to symbolize that the pain is over, the wound is healed, so that we never forget."
Octavia Blake: "Sit down. Let me get---"
Echo: "No. Orlando told us that all they care about is their last war. They want us to fight with them. That's why it's different. We're not prisoners. We're recruits. (pounds on door) We're ready to fight with you!"
Octavia Blake: "Please. This is crazy."
-- in The Queen's Gambit
Echo: "This is how my people show we're ready to go to war."
Anders: "I'm glad to hear that. Do the rest of you agree with Echo?"
Octavia Blake: "Alright. Free us and we'll fight your war."
Anders: "The Last War will free us all, Miss Blake. Training starts tomorrow. We'll make Disciples of you yet."
-- in The Queen's Gambit
Charmaine Diyoza: "Anders took us outside. Why did you try to send us out there?"
Levitt: "It's survivable for an hour or two. I just needed time to figure something out."
Octavia Blake: "If he was trying to kill us, he would've found easier ways to do it."
Charmaine Diyoza: "And now you're our trainer? You always have so many jobs."
Levitt: "I'm only involved because of my knowledge of... From the M-Cap. And clearly this isn't a normal situation. Anders himself will lead the training, something he never does."
Hope Diyoza: "Oh, lucky us."
Levitt: "He usually lets others dole out the punishment."
Charmaine Diyoza: "Oh what, staying awake for 72 hours, sleeping in a mud pit, eating rats to stay alive? Please. I been there, done that."
Levitt: "I probably shouldn't be telling you this, but -- but they'll mess with your minds, try and amp up your emotions. It's crucial that you keep that control."
-- in The Flock
Clarke Griffin: "Is something funny? Because I don't see anything humorous about this."
Octavia Blake: "I'm smiling because I realized... I finally understand you."
Clarke Griffin: "Really? How so?"
Octavia Blake: "You have Madi, I have Hope. I'd do anything to keep her safe."
Clarke Griffin: "How long were you on Penance?"
Octavia Blake: "We call it Skyring. Ten years. Good ones."
Clarke Griffin: "What?"
Octavia Blake: "A couple of days ago she was just our little girl. Now she's messed up like the rest of us."
-- in The Stranger
Clarke Griffin: "You need backup to talk to us now?"
Bellamy Blake: "It's okay." (the guards leave)
Clarke Griffin: "It's about time. I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out how you telling Cadogan the truth about the Flame helps us. You know what I've come up with? It doesn't."
Bellamy Blake: "I couldn't lie to him."
Octavia Blake: "Really? Why not?"
Bellamy Blake: "I had an experience, something that changed me to my core, something that explains why we're still here and where we're going. It came to me in a vision. Mom was there. The Shepherd led me to her and there was a light and it was beautiful and warm and peaceful and I chose it and when I opened my eyes the storm had passed just like that."
Clarke Griffin: "Bellamy--"
Bellamy Blake: "Clarke I-- I know how it sounds, but it's real. A war is coming, the last war we will ever fight. Win it and we become the light."
Clarke Griffin: "Is that what the cult leader told you?"
Octavia Blake: "Did he tell you what happens if we lose?"
Bellamy Blake: "We won't."
Octavia Blake: "We turn into crystal, wiped out like Medusa turning people into stone. It's the end of everything."
Bellamy Blake: "Not everything, just us. If I told you the AI that destroyed the Earth was storing our minds in a City of Light, would that be any more believable? What about a group of astronauts turning themselves into gods by transferring their minds into the bodies of their own followers to live forever?"
Clarke Griffin: "Ok. Yes. We've seen our share of crazy. But that doesn't change the fact that fighting some war to become the light is as ridiculous as the clothes you're wearing!"
Bellamy Blake: "There's one way to find out. Tell me where the Flame is."
Clarke Griffin: "No."
Bellamy Blake: "Clarke, yesterday you were offering it up in exchange for safe passage."
Clarke Griffin: "Yesterday, I was bluffing. I made a deal to save my friends, knowing damn well I had no intention of following through with it. Today, I'm standing in front of my best friend who I thought was dead and I don't even recognize him."
Bellamy Blake: "Clarke, I am the same person who brought you back from the dead, who refused to give up on you. There is so much more at stake here than you know and I know you don't believe in transcendence, but I'm telling you it's real and I am asking you to believe in me."
Clarke Griffin: "Even if you're right, even if everything you're saying is true, I will not help that man start his war!"
Bellamy Blake: "Tell me where the Flame is."
Octavia Blake: "Or what?"
Bellamy Blake: "Dozens of Disciples are dead, including First Disciple Anders."
Clarke Griffin: "Yes and every one of them has tried to keep us from saving our friends."
Bellamy Blake: "And now I am trying to save you, all of you. Clarke, if you don't tell me where it is, they will execute all of you. Please, let me help."
Clarke Griffin: "Go float yourself."
Bellamy Blake: "Guards! Take this one to M-Cap."
Octavia Blake: "Bellamy, what are you doing?!"
Bellamy Blake: "What I have to do."
-- in The Stranger
Echo: "Where's Bellamy?"
Octavia Blake: "Clarke?"
Clarke Griffin: "Dead. He's dead."
John Murphy: "Bellamy? Clarke, he was fine when we left. I'm a little confu---."
Clarke Griffin: "I killed him. I had to."
Echo: "Why?"
Clarke Griffin: "Madi's sketchbook, he had it and he knew that she still has the memories of the Commander. She would never be safe. I begged him to stop. I tried to get the book back, but he... I tried everything, I promise. I tried. I'm so sorry."
Octavia Blake: "I understand. So would the old Bellamy. The one that would do anything for his baby sister and the people he loved."
Clarke Griffin: "You can hate me if you want to, god knows I do."
Echo: "We lost him a long time ago. He needed all this chaos to make sense, all the violence, all the people we've killed. He couldn't accept that it's all meaningless. Cadogan gave him meaning, and that meaning is what killed him... not you."
-- in A Sort of Homecoming
Octavia Blake: "In peace, may you leave this shore. In love..."
Hope Diyoza: "No!"
Octavia Blake: "May you find the next. Safe passage on your travels until our final journey on the ground."
Gabriel Santiago (in Spanish) "Death is life."
Octavia Blake: "May we meet again."
Jordan Green, Hope Diyoza, Clarke Griffin, John Murphy, Emori, Nathan Miller and Eric Jackson: "May we meet again."
-- in A Sort of Homecoming
Clarke Griffin: "It's working!" (Clarke vanishes)
Octavia Blake: "I'm next."
Hope Diyoza: "I don't wanna be alone again."
Octavia Blake: "Sometimes to do the right thing, you have to take a risk. Your mom knew that, too." (Octavia vanishes)
Jordan Green (taking Hope's hand): "You're not alone."
Nathan Miller: "What now?"
Indra (to Gaia): "Now we have faith."
-- in The Dying of the Light
Octavia Blake: "Are you sure? You've wanted this your whole life."
Levitt: "Until you I didn't have a life."
-- in The Dying of the Light
Levitt: "You do realize that if Clarke can't stop the test, then we are buying time for Wanheda to be the witness for the human race."
Octavia Blake: "Can I ask you something? If she gets it done, will my brother Transcend?"
Levitt: "No. Shepherd's Passage, Book of Bardo, Chapter 1, Verse 6. 'Death is the end my friend. Only the living shall Transcend.'"
Octavia Blake: "Must've slept through that class. (Levitt becomes serious) What?"
Levitt: "If she does take the test, then today's the end. Either way, Transcendence or extinction... I would have liked to live a little first."
Octavia Blake: "Same."
-- in The Last War
Octavia Blake: "Enough! What the hell are we doing here? You swore an oath to fight for all mankind. Well look around you! We are mankind, we are Wonkru! If I kill you, I kill myself. If we keep killing each other, there won't be anyone left to save. Our fight is over, Indra."
Indra: "I hope you know what you are doing."
Octavia Blake: "We're unarmed. I know you're afraid to walk away from everything you've spent your lives training for. I am too. My brother believed as you do.. that transcendence -- whatever that means -- is within reach. He died for that belief and for that he'll never get there. Never transcend. I don't know what I believe, but I do know that if we fight this war we don't deserve to find out if he was right. We don't deserve to survive. We fail, we die."
Raven Reyes: "She's reaching them." (the Judge looks shocked)
Octavia Blake: "I've been to war and let me tell you... the only way to win is not to fight."
-- in The Last War
Octavia Blake: "Bellamy was right."
